    Thanks for the honest review. It would be nice if you could compare these with mungyo watercolors. It would help us make a correct choice while purchasing. It becomes confusing when you need to buy good quality paints at affordable prices.

    The worst part about this watercolor cake is that we have to use water too many time. And there is also a difficulty in mixing color.

      @@niazhannanwatercolors I had a channel in this account about birds (how to breed them, how to tame them etc.. ) .But I didn't get any revenue even after 3-4 years .. thats why I made those uploaded videos private and stopped doing videos.. But I am very interested in Watercolor painting, Piano and keyboard stuffs, a little gardening, pc gaming (sometimes not that much due to budget issues) ...
      I like very much your way of cityscapes.. you have truly become quite strong in the topic. Also there are very less people who have used Renowned brands of watercolor papers, paints,brushes so I feel much connected in your content as an Indian... (As you even review and paint with 100/- Doms paints, and even costly premium brands.. ) . I would like to chat with you like this as I regularly watch your content ! Their transparency is not the best. 🤐 And what about their lightfastness?

    • @niazhannanwatercolors
      @niazhannanwatercolors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will definitely answer that with a video bit first i have 2 questions for you..
      1. Why do we need transparency in watercolor? (What is the use?)
      2. Will you paint a big piece (that you want to preserve for life) or a commissioned work with cheap paints like mungyo or brustro?

    • @jasminelovely9790
      @jasminelovely9790 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@niazhannanwatercolors hi I know the comment was not directed towards me but I would like to answer as well I use transparent colors when I use in ink my paintings it shows opaque colors cover up my ink lines and as for light fast I want my artwork I keep and sell both to last a lifetime especially the ones I sell or I fell like I’m ripping some off with pigment that will fade over time

    • @moma-b

      @@niazhannanwatercolors
      1. Having strong and bright colors. Luminosity and brightness. If the paint is not transparent you can't see the white of the paper shining through, you can't use glazing for optical color mixing, you can only achieve that amazing glowing effect with transparent watercolors.
      I have Gansai paint and I sort of like it but they look very different on paper and I do prefer the look of transparent watercolors over the opaque ones. Not to mention that they don't mix well.
      2. I would not buy and I would not sell an artwork which fades away in a few months or years. It's not right, it's almost like a scam.
      I use cheap watercolor (Royal & Langnickel) for practicing sketches, then I throw them away. I use cheap watercolor for practicing color mixing. I do not sell paintings but for everything I want to frame or preserve I use Van Gogh watercolors, student grade with 100 years lightfastness under museum conditions. They are an affordable solution for me, in this stage of my progress. I do not need Daniel Smith paints for my hobby level.
      Imo, there is a place for opaque watercolors, many likes them, yet, I would not recommend them for beginners because they don't mix well, thus they can quickly become a source of great frustration for beginners which makes them give up. They watch amazing art videos then get frustrated why their paintings don't look so good. Opaque colors tend to turn muddy when they are mixed on the paper.

      @niazhannanwatercolors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@moma-b @Moma B Hey i got a great deal of information from you thank you i appreciate it.
      1. Yes opaque colors tend to get muddy very easily which could be frustrating for beginners. But what if we can achieve transparent layers by using more water less pigment? (means It depends on how we use it)
      2. Brustro is rated as Excellent Lightfastness and even then i won't use it for a professional work or something i want to preserve. There are things we can't explain but feel.
      I will try to cover both these topics in my next video Brustro Vs Mungyo. Stay tuned and keep supporting 😇
