Is it possible to create a report in the report builder based on data from 2 different servers? That is, there is one data table on one server, and I want it to link to a table from another server in order to get the data I need from two data sources. If this is possible, then how can this be done?
Hi! You could create a linked server learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/system-stored-procedures/sp-addlinkedserver-transact-sql?view=sql-server-2016&redirectedfrom=MSDN Then you can query one server from another. I hope it helps!
Another good tutorial but for some reason, in my sql editor in management studio, I cannot enter a new line. I must copy or cut the code and make changes in my notepad, then paste it back. I am hoping that you know why this is the case?

Hi Lee! Not the faintest idea on that one I'm afraid, I've never encountered that peculiar problem!
