Hearing Jeremy mention Finding Neverland & how he didn't get to go with it to Broadway still gets me worked up because he deserved it. Funny thing though is these things always come back around so you never know. We are sitting here watching an interview with someone who did the concept recording of Death Note a decade ago with someone who was just in the first ever English production last year (& part of a new recording) talking about a show that even a few years ago we had no idea would have this 2nd life.
would’ve loved our ladies to be filmed, francis was truly electric in that and their rendition of mr. blue sky was amazing and as a young scottish girl it was so nice to see some rep.
Watched it. Loved it! Saw the west end show three times and best thing is that it has retained its rawness. .. and never tire of the tunes. So pleased to see this again & to enjoy Natalie McQueen as Blanche - masterclass right there in my book. Adore Frances ... Great interview, a treat..
So excited to watch this I watched Bonnie and Clyde for three days straight when I rented it! That plus me managing to catch the tour in Nottingham has grown it into being my new favourite show❤ EDIT- just finished and that was fascinating! Thankyou so much and I’d love to hear an interview with some of the current west end Hadestown cast! 🥀
Love this!! Also I must ask if you are planning on doing a video on the Jellicle Ball - the ballroom CATS adaptation!!? I’m obsessed, and would love to hear your thoughts!
Loved the interview! You may interview Bryce Pinkham next. He was the original Monty Navarro in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. He can currently be heard in the adult animated TH-cam series Hellva Boss as the voice of the Owl demon prince Stolas.
An interview with Jordan Luke Gage about his career and particularly the new show he’s written and developing. That would be really interesting to learn more about.
I'm grateful the cast helped fund the b&c recording. It's one of my fav shows. It would be popular abroad because a lot of Americans have a bias against the couple. Americans love to live in the past and are uneducated enough to not understand b&c were just as much folk heroes as villians. Their story didn't deserve to be told any less than anyone else. I'm grateful this show introduced jj who has my fav broadway voice.
@@MickeyJoTheatre very cool to see a TH-camr be so responsive in the comments section though! Absolutely did not even expect you to see this let alone respond personally!
He only gives detailed answers, which is what you need to do to have a good interview and answer the questions in the most professional way. At no point did he interrupt her or not let her speak. Frances had perhaps fewer questions, but that was not Jeremy's decision and she also answered in a not so extensive way. If you have seen Jeremy's other interviews, you will know that he is a gentleman, he always lets his partner speak first and takes great care of her, I recommend you watch his interviews with Eva Noblezada. Although Frances and Jeremy are very close, he has said many times that he loves her very much. He is one of the biggest stars on Broadway, but he has also shown several times that he is very humble about it. Stop creating unnecessary problems.

OMG! When Jeremy commented on Bearamy, I just LOST IT!
"His name is Bearemy."
"Oh, I know." 😂❤
Of course he knows. Of course. 🐻 I can't love that enough.
Holy moly Mickey Jo! THE Jeremy Jordan!!! 😮 I would be fangirling so hard 😂 fab interview as ever ❤

I still think about finding Neverland often 🥹
Wait what’s the story of why he didn’t go on to Broadway with the show?

Mickey, you are so articulate and crafted this interview perfectly. Bravo!!
I’ve been watching random Jeremy Jordan clips the whole day and now you drop this video 🫶

I'd love to see you chat to Ed Larkin about theatre accessibility and opportunities for disables actors
Your hair during the intro is giving 🔥😋
I really enjoyed this pro shot more than the regional touring productions
Hope you have a safe flight today Mickey. Thanks for sharing this interview with us 🖤

AHHHHHH!!!
😅what streaming service carries this?
Jordan not super into letting anybody else get a word in, huh?
Very possible that it's my editing that gives that impression - definitely not something I felt during this conversation!
@@MickeyJoTheatre maybe? Just seemed like he talked A LOT more than Frances did... I get that he's a bigger star but it felt really imbalanced to me.
