“What’s your special skill” “I don’t have that many” YOUR JEREMY JORDAN? (We all said in unison)
Everytime I say "I'm coming" I also think about Hadestown. 😂
Thank you both for discussing the anxiety/panic attacks that come with your careers. Normalizing not being perfect, improvising, using humor and the other things you've mentioned makes the audience appreciate that you're human too. Growing up in my era, acting seemed like robotic perfection. Now, I enjoy shows more, as do my family and friends.
Eva, if you get a chance to thrift when in New Jersey, check out the Hope Chest in Westfield. It's only about 15 min from PMP. My son loves thrifting (more so in NC where he lives) but he's found a few things up here.
Thank you Jeremy, your voice, humor, and acting has gotten me thru a very difficult recuperation time. You have mastered breaking the 4th wall. I am so very grateful. See you both on 10/13!
I wish I could go see The Great Gatsby! Why must Texas be so far away?! I know Jeremy & Eva will be incredible. So thankful for this video and any content that will be shared from the show. - Christina Vourcos
So much more to come. Stay tuned!

Saw them both on Broadway last weekend. Great show !! Great performance !!
Love this idea so much! Thanks for doing this! I wish so badly I could see Great Gatsby, I bet it's going to be AMAZING!!! But, Utah is a little too far away :( I love the book/movie and think it's such a fun idea for a musical theatre show, and I know these two are going to KILL IT!!
The world isn't ready! And so glad you enjoyed :)

❤❤❤❤
💚🍾
Why does everyone say "Spring Awakeming" is their favorite lol i need to see it ig
It's Rent but for millennials, I feel. It's that show that taps well into the current pop sensibility for music and manages to speak to young people on their level about themes and topics they care about. I didn't grow up in that generation and don't personally feel strongly about the musical, partly because the lyrics tend to be a little too criptically poetic in certain songs and emotionally you can't really tell what is going on/being said, and partly because the (literal) slapstick with the teachers feels out of place and kinda brings it down. Still you should check it out, I know people that it's been life-changing for, and you never know.
@@emalaw1329 thanks. From what you said it may not be my style either, but I'll still give it a try.
The deaf west version is definitely the better interpretation. I would check that one out for the staging but check the original out for the songs itself
@@np8366 what makes it a better interpretation, in your opinion? I personally feel that the stage musicians singing the songs in place of the characters throughout the show would kinda take me out of the immersion. I get the accessibility argument, and it's a thoroughly good thing that a Broadway production catering to the hearing-impaired can exist, but I don't see what a hearing audience could get out of it, that they wouldn't get from the original production.
@emalaw1329
One can argue that a character suddenly whipping out a mic in the middle of a terse moment in the OBC breaks immersion lol. But honestly, the added layer of reimagining characters as deaf to a story primarily centered around communication barriers is nothing short of brilliant. In the show they introduce the singers as the character's inner voice (which works much better on stage than on paper). The choreography in songs like Touch Me blow the original out of the water, turning lyrics about vague metaphors into tangible staging. Dont get me wrong, I love the original for its encapsulation of teen angst but the DWSA version is definitely notable in its own right and a must see
i love ths
Have you bought your Gatsby tickets yet? 👀
I got them immediately when they cane out 😂😂 It’ll be my birthday treat
@@MM-cp4fu Happy Birthday!!

does anyone know what jeremy's connection to ohio state university is? lol. love the OSU hat, jeremy!
Why doesn't he have his wedding ring on
I hate when live singers deviate from the official recording of the song.
Okay, party pooper. Keep listening to the recordings, then.
Its too expensive and not close enough to my birthday to convince the parents 🥲(I BET THEIR GONNA RULE THO-)
Edit: LETS GOOOO MY SCHOOL IS OFF ON A FRIDAY SO I CAN SNAG A $35 SEAT HELL YEAH!! THIS IS GONNA BE SICK-
So glad you're gonna catch the magic!
That is so awesome! I'd tell you to enjoy, but its impossible not too 😂
Well said esp the part about how you guys deal with anxiety and I also appreciate the closed captioning xo
The age/experience gap is so interesting to see
