Often there are tools that we know but that we don't use, since we don't understand their potential, you Ciro bring out the best from even the simplest things!! Thank you Maestro!! 🤩🤩🤟🏻
Great video! Short, concise, and straight to the point. Even already knowing the "Select and Place" tool, I learned some valuable new information about the possibility of changing the settings of it. Thank you!
This video made my day! Another valuable tip to add to our toolbox. Thanks Ciro for adding such great value to explain this feature and make our work easier :)
Thank you for your assistance. I have been using this tool for quite some time but I am not familiar with all of its features. Can you clarify the difference between the pillow mode and "use base as pivot"?
Hi, it's not a modificator... it's actually pretty simple, it must work with no special workarounds. In case the software is not working better contact Autodesk
It only matters that it works in 99% of cases, said that... any tool has a small % of failures. In addition, importing objects from SketchUp happens... but it'is not the best workflow ever.

Autogrid is available only creating primitives, this one instead is to drag objects on surfaces (with more options) 👌

Hello from Uzbekistan
Thank you for your assistance. I have been using this tool for quite some time but I am not familiar with all of its features. Can you clarify the difference between the pillow mode and "use base as pivot"?
Pillow simply avoid any possible position that collides the ojbects with the mesh below
the autoparenting feature is new to me.
Thank you very much

well when working in higpoly objects and those objects imported from sketchup...this tool sometimes fail to detect object to glue to...
It only matters that it works in 99% of cases, said that... any tool has a small % of failures. In addition, importing objects from SketchUp happens... but it'is not the best workflow ever.
