You can also generate mapping coordinates inside of the line or the sweep to skip the UVW unwrap step :)

Aga, thank you for such simple and clear tutorials! Can you tell me how to add logo (black letters) to the main texture of metal on the knife? What kind of information should I learn?
If its just letters on flat texture adding them to the texture in Photoshop will be sufficient.

I have a contoured roads, side walks, and curbstone liked with Revit model that I need to map follow. I don't have a premade spline and making one will cost time. is there an other way around?
If you loop the selection of your road edge, you'd be able to quickly create spline from your geometry. something similar in this video th-cam.com/video/vvQ10zxh9Uc/w-d-xo.html

Cześć! Planuje przejść na 3ds maxa. Proszę o informację czy polecace silnik Vray czy Corona? Widziałem Wasz film z porównaniem obu silników jednak nie do końca on wyczerpuje temat. Więc? ;)

how do I make the lines visible when in the unwrap uvw? because, I made is not visible.
try the F4-key and/or the F3-key! It changes the viewport-display. You can do that also by clicking in the upper left corner of your viewport to change the display.

Can you show how to texture a terrain mountain? I have a large scene and when i assign a 2m x 2m texture map, the map become enlarged and looks blurry. I keep adjusting the texture map tilling but no working
try to apply a UVWMAP modifier. and then adjust your tiling

@@Khrizsrage i used the free form tool to create a mountain scene. Used megascans material to vray material. Assigned vray material to my mountain geometry without the uvw modifier. The texture sort of stretched and very blur. I am new to 3d program.

but u can do the same thing just by using UVWxform with out unwrap modifier.
No, you cannot:
"Use the UVW XForm modifier to adjust tiling and offset in existing UVW coordinates. If you have an object with complex UVW coordinates already applied (such as a Loft object, or a parametric object with generated coordinates), you can apply this modifier to adjust those coordinates further."
Maybe you've got object already mapped correctly and you just need to adjust it.
@@ArchVizArtist when i watched your video a tried to do the same thing just by using UVW XForm modifier, and i did it, just u must create your shape ( in this example the path) with sweep or loft or anything else that have ( generating mapping coordinate), all u need just check it and u can play with adjusting the scale,.. so on
