A new release of the GX-60 Soul of Chogokin Godsigma with new weapons! Combine the three sub-robots, Sea King, Land King, and Sky King, into the massive Space Emperor Godsigma!
It has been seven years since the release of the original GX-60. Now this popular super robot gets a "renewal" with some new features and the addition of new weapons God Tomahawk, Spin Saucer, and more. New features include a re-designed chest "V" for added realism, and added chroming of the weapons. The wings on the back convert into a scabbard for Godsigma's sword, letting you replicate dramatic scenes from the anime!
The set includes Sky King (figure, optional hands, two optional shoulder rods, two internal knee joint parts, a sword, and a bow and arrow); the Sea King (figure, two optional hands, Water Gun and two double chains.); the Land King (figure, two optional hands, Attack Drill, and assault hammer); Big Wing; three pairs of Godsigma fists; a Legendary Sword; a scabbard; a sword attachment part; a shield; two God Tomahawks; two Spin Saucers; a Sigma mark buckle; a weapon stand; a Big Wing stand; and instructions.

I may keep an eye out, there are some nice little details on this "R" version, but the original GX-60 is just great bricky diecast love already.

After the transformation, the thunder king's head looks a little too small -- because the body is 3 times as big but the head stays the same. In the anime, the artist simply drew the head larger to make it look proportional. I wish there were a bigger head to be used for post-transformation.
I love the Creator made both Go Lion and this i like how you can see a little bit of Go Lion/ Voltron in this Robot

This has to be one of the most expensive models of its kind ever, even though it is very nicely designed and intricate. Bandai also made a plastic assembly kit for God Sigma that was one-tenth the price, but very primitive as a model -- no moveable joints at all, no posing possible other than standing up straight, and inseparable legs for Sea and Land Kings; and the transformation didn't look like what we saw in the anime at all. The great thing about the GX-60(R) is that the transformation actually looks (90%) like what was in the anime.
Legit, dude thank you for the COMPARISON review. I love those. I'm pretty much ready to get one of these guys and wasnt sure. Same with godmars. On the godmars would you recommend the R ver.
It depends if you want toy color. Unless its a bot toy I have a big attachment to, I prefer non toy color

I got this new God Sigma. Amazing Soul Of Chogokin figure. Now I just need a renewal version of Ideon to complete my SOC collection.

I've been looking to buy myself some nice Chogokin the last few weeks but I can't justify $600 for GX 71 Voltron and GX88 Dairugger looks kinda like a mess. Sigma is my next favorite and I missed the initial release so I am going to buy this one, the window box presentation looking like the old Godiakin really sold me. Thanks for your comparison you're the guy I look for first for super robots reviews 😀

Please keep the reviews coming Charles, maybe think of some alternative ways of income like Patreon for example to help with the expenses of buying these collector pieces. Yeah I have been considering this for a while to keep reviews going. Also about the lighting..not the only one who said that. I will try and work on this. Maybe reupload too.

I suggest use white or gray background Charles. Hard to see in black background. Other than that excellent job mate!

Thanks for the input. Like 90% of my equipment is gone or lost lol. I used to have lots of lighting and all those gray cards to adjust exposure etc. I think prob is that on my stuff it doesnt look dark si i will try and use this video as reference for next time and adjust. Or just reinvest in new stuff...lol Thanks!
We get a toy made for this because the transformation can actually be re-created in physical form. In some anime, the transformation is so bizarre and surreal (e.g. Getter Robo) that no toy could ever be made from it. The creator of God Sigma must have thought all those years ago, hey, we need to sell toys with this, even in the 21st century! So better make a realistic transformation!

Eric Coates very high lol. To be honest I am not sure how people missed it as it wasn’t sold out in seconds unlike Bandai metal build or macross items.
But they will reissue soon enough. Bandai is already reissue the power rangers one

Bandai is a love hate, they will make another 20 mazinger before they think about voltron vehicles. I am someone that doesn’t mind mazinger but I think it’s way over done on it and it feels like we stuck with current design and not moving forward with other bots from 80s

As he said, there aren't a lot of differences. Bandai is basically reissuing the figure with a few modifications. It gives people a chance to own the figure who weren't able to get the first release. I might expect the same for the GoLion reissue.
