    I had a lesson with Jess today and we worked on this very elbow setup piece, along with other setup components, and it helped tremendously to draw the ball. Thank you to both of you guys. I really enjoy the dual-teaching videos.

    Amazing explanation of the back/downswing position for elbow. Thanks, I saved this video so when struggling I can go back and watch.

    Love this. This might be obvious or natural for some (not me) but when coming down i need to make my trail arm longer otherwise i get over the top.

    I really like this concept and how you gentleman illustrated it. Can some of this feel and trail elbow placement be incorporated into your driver swing too?

    I love how Eric chuckled at the 'angular momentum' comment by Jess, in other words let's keep this simple not over complicate it with big technical words haha

    What do you do with the other elbow lol? Feel like my left elbow wants to get closer to right elbow but when that happens i tend to chunk/blade my shots.

    For me, I just try to keep the entire club in front of me for as long as possible. It's an easy 'feel' to keep the right elbow in that position.

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like it Victor! Sometimes simple and easy works great.......but sometimes simple isn't enough and we need some more detail :)

  • @4g63mark

    I used to struggle with this and occasionally still do. If I set up with my arms at my side it allows me to get closer to the ball which is a comfortable place to be for me personally. However that invites a lot of issues..... I have to verify every time I set up that my elbow is in front of my torso, not to the side of my torso.

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed! Elbows on side vs in front a biggie for a lot of people!

    Are you bowing the left wrist to square the club face?

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Steve---thats ONE option.
      If you do that or not....or how much depends a lot on your GRIP.
      The weaker the grip the more you will need to bow to square....the stronger the less.
      I go over that more here: th-cam.com/video/S776LyvM6Pc/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUXRXJpYyBjb2dvcm5vIGdyaXAgd3Jpc3Q%3D
