The video i entertaining and well edited but he lowballed the hell out of cosmic armor and several other supermen. Comic curator has the best scaling on cosmic armor superman. Cas Superman transcends fiction and scales above perpetua and the other beings. It was revealed all the 6th dimension arcs and beings were dreams created by darkseid. Superman and mandrakk are confirmed by cosmology creator grant morrison to be the two most powerful forces of good vs evil a literal vampire that was eating fiction itself. Confirmed by Grant as basically editor level.
@@mel-el5862Comic Curator is not a good scaler , he takes lots of things out of context pal , he even believes the Source doesn't exist despite him using the DC Book which confirms the existence of the Source.
@@user-lp8im7ow8s irrelevent to confirm3d statements from cosmology creator grant morrison. Cosmic armor superman scales way beyond what this video entails.
I do like that you out of a very small amount of people attempted and actually did scale pretty much every Superman which is very much a impossible task even for the most hardcore fans and seasoned of scalers. So respect for that
Thank you so much. I didn’t want to make the same mistake that I made with my Batman video. On top of the fact that I was really interested in learning more of Superman’s scaling.
Even if there may be some placings that I can disagree with, for my case especially I feel that DCAU Superman (JLU) was a bit too low and downgraded, I believe this video is incredible. Every placement has a solid explanation, pacing of the video is well estructured, there is solid proof, calculations and feats for each and everyone of them (I really liked that you used hypotheticals between a Supes of a lower tier vs a Supes of a higher tier to show the progression of power), its well edited and in general its a very interesting, entertaining and well made video, glad to see more great content creators doing long format and scaling. Keep up the good work, cant wait to see what you do next, glad to have found your channel and that I can be a part of the first 1000 subscribers. Much love 🙌❤️
I think we can all agree that the DCAU is the greatest adaptation of the DC Universe. It gave us definitive versions of our beloved characters and it was beautifully written. Nothing tops the DCAU it's too goated. The MCU and DCEU should take notes from the DCAU.
Post crisis superman is the goat, he's the last one of his team, merge with his new 52, then fix the world, then restore the justice society, and still the same one till this day
Not to be that guy but for a lot of the guys F to B tier he is literally using calcs and research from Vswiki its just blatantly there. I've literally done the calcs for SM&L, Young Justice, and MAWS myself and he flashes calcs from some of my blogs here so need to shit on the site while you're completely wrong. That said he has done great work on this video and I find it enjoyable but no need to take silly pot shots like this because of your own personal problems with others especially when the shots are misinformed.
There's a lot in this ranking that I don't agree with. I honestly don't think that Superman (MAW) is ranked above his tomorrowverse and young justice counterparts. Young justice Superman in particular had more experience and better feats than MAW Superman. I also don't agree with the DCEU Superman being ranked above his DCAMU counterpart just from the fact that DCAMU Superman was able to fight Darkseid on two occasions. Arkhamverse Superman has not done enough to be ranked above his CW counterpart. CW Superman, when supercharged by the sun, can be considered one of the strongest versions of the character, possibly even stronger than his Smallville counterpart, who without being supercharged was able to withstand the Bleed, which threatened to reset his universe. I also don't know if Rebirth Superman can be ranked above Superman one million, even with the somewhat fair comparison.
Although young Justice Superman does have the experience advantage, (MAWS) has significant better speed scaling than young justice.Tommorow verses Superman’s speed does measure up but he doesn’t have the AP yet. DCEU and DCAMU can both be argued to be in the planetary ranges - so it’s pretty contentious. Although Arkham Superman may be fraudulent, he’s still pretty damn op based on his feats in that game and has massively FTL speed. So Superman CW Superman is vastly stronger but also Vastly slower. While making this video I had no idea smallville could be scaled that high. Prime one million is borderline featless but does have writer statements and just basic scaling implications that put him way above post crisis - but like the same applies to rebirth Superman to a much higher degree. Especially after infinite frontiers.
@@destro3004 Sorry, but I don't buy that Superman MAWS has shown a speed advantage over his young justice counterpart. Plus, like you pointed out, young justice Superman had the experience advantage, which is an important advantage. I still think that tomorrowverse Superman still has the advantage over his MAWS counterpart, and I still think that both young justice and tomorrowverse beat MAWS Superman. I also don't think that Arkhamverse Superman has shown enough feats to be properly ranked. When scaling Smallville Superman, you have to factor in the season 11 comics. CW Superman, particularly when he was supercharged by the sun, is still arguably the strongest we've seen Superman on screen, while Superman one million can still be considered one of the strongest versions of Superman in general. You may make some good points, but I still stand by my points while strongly and respectfully disagreeing with your rankings.
The music selection in this video was heat all the way through. As far as scaling goes, the only issue I have with the higher end scaling is that you scale DC’s 5th and 6th dimension to 5th and 6th spatial dimensions when they’re much higher than that. They’re not spatial dimensions and while I won’t get into all the scaling here, they can legit be scaled to outer depending on the interpretation you have, but even if you think that’s a highball, low complex and complex is a definite lowball. As in the bare minimum kind of lowball
True, Brahma literally stated that within the Multiverse, their lays an innumerable amount of spatial dimensions. Hinting that the Multiverse itself is a High Hyperversal Space. And anything beyond that will be classified as Outerversal, such as the Sphere of The Gods, The 5th Dimension, Limbo, Hypertime, Monitor Sphere, 6th Dimension and The Source/Overvoid.
Amazing video. I had no idea that DCAU Superman was so powerful because i haven't seen the movie. Finally someone is putting respect to my boy new 52 Superman.
This is great also can you do a strongest Spider-Man ranking Also before you do please consider consultancy over implications on chain scaling especially for the live action Spider-Men since some people believe they are city/country level of can react to light speed Which I disagree with
one thing i'd like to point out is that the one you called rebirth Superman (the one with the world forger feat) is actually infinite frontier Superman, who is a merged pre crisis post crisis new 52 and rebirth Superman. also the world forger he beat was not weakend he was at full power in the 6 dimension which is his own realm. otherwise great video.
Seriously, one big priblem with scaling Superman's power -- to say nothing of scaling it down -- is that *he's SUPERMAN!* From when we first see him effortlessly turning a two-ton car into tinfoil on the cover of the very first issue of Action Comics (June 1938), he *starts out* overwhelming and quickly develops the momentum of a runaway train!

Great vid although I disagree with some of the placements, Superboy prime should realistically scale above CAS due to him going ham on TDK who at that point of the story scales to the 6th dimension which was also referred to as the Omniverse, the 6th dimension scales above the 5th which transcends the monitor sphere where null exists , TDK also was capable of killing perpetua who was stated to be the reason for the existence of every DC villain including mandrakk so yeah while CAS is a literal plot device and was threatening the plot of DC while fighting Dax novu , Superboy prime simply transcends that ( also he can rewrite and create stories with his punches) , the 1st should definitely be infinite frontier superman aka new current superman, in Dark crisis it turned out that the great Darkness is basically the strongest entity in the verse being able to overtake the entire cosmology including the overvoid, the great darkness was kinda afraid of this super 💀 , adding the fact that this superman was capable of basically going against every major villain DC all amped by the great darkness and he was shown on panel to be capable of going toe to toe with EMPTY HAND and true form Darkseid who scale above the quintessence who scale to the 6th dimension and Empty hand literally stomped on him like a bug also this guy outscales the hands and his minions alone can 1 shot characters that can manipulate the plot and current superman scales to that , also this guy was capable of absorbing an entire universe main purely out of crisis energy, you could argue that the amount was infinite due to the Average size of a universe in DC but what's important the fact that this is what the hands and tdk were using to retcon the entire dc continuity during crisis events (also it's 6th dimensional energy) , he also scales above black adam who broke the Great darkness chains that bounded true form Darkseid (the chains should at the very least outscale true form Darkseid) and recently he casually defeated a bizzaro who absorbed all of the strongest magic in DC which should at least scale him to Hecate or even UDM level and superman while dealing with him literally stated that he's not even trying to fight and that he poses no threat to him
A lot of good points I can’t really disagree with. But I think you’re kind of downplaying cas Superman. Him and mandrakk are both born from the overvoid which exists past the source wall. Mind you perpetua was imprisoned within the source wall not once but twice. TDK used fragments of the source wall to put her down. Granted she was weakened both times but still. They both wiped the monitor sphere in their clash so they also transcend it as well. we know that the sixth dimension was pretty much called the control room of the multiverse by Mr mxy, meaning that it’s still part of the multiverse. While the overvoid is stated multiple times to exist outside of the multiverse. Mandrakk just like perpetua, was also shown interacting with the overvoid as well via building a bridge from the overvoid into the multiverse. So it’s likely that they both transcend the sixth dimension. Which should put him and cas on the same dimensional level as perpetua, TDK or Superboy prime. On top of the thought robots adaptation haxs which could allow him to survive a retcon punch.
@@destro3004 I'm telling you dude they keep making him stronger every chance they get , also I really don't think I'm downplaying CAS, I just don't think he's top 1 or above DC metal Superboy prime, like sure both mandrakk and perpetua transcend the monitor sphere but I don't think Dax transcends the 6th dimension, this because the DC map wasn't as large at the time before DC added 2 layers above the monitor sphere , like before we had the monitor sphere as the 2nd highest layer in the verse while Null was just chilling out there in the overvoid , this got retconned and now Null exists inside of the monitor sphere while both the 5th and 6th dimensions are transcending it , now you could argue that because of null being outside of the highest layer in the multiverse at the time , Dax novu transcends the monitor sphere but this still doesn't mean that he transcends the new 2 layers that were added on top of the 4th dimension, now when it comes to the argument of "both characters are created by the overvoid thus they scale to each other", I disagree with that and while it's true that both characters were created by the overvoid, for 1 this still doesn't deny the fact that perpetua was still capable of manipulating him into doing her bedding and 2 it doesn't mean that the overvoid created them equally ( now the obvious thing here is that Grant Morrison when he created CAS and Mandrakk didn't know that his DC map was going to be retconned in the future thus making CAS and Mandrakk the strongest in past cosmology) . Overall I think that CAS is the 3rd strongest Superman variant right below DC metal Superboy prime but I'm pretty sure we both can agree that the current main superman aka infinite frontier superman is currently THE STRONGEST , also I would like to hear your thoughts on the whole Great darkness being Lucifer debate cuz I'm genuinely torn between believing that he's the darkness or that he is his own separate thing cuz I don't think he's an avatar like the rest especially after that whole doomsday in hell story where the first of the fallen kinda hinted that the presence not only still exists but he also above everything
@@ricardomilos3872Agreed super boy prime is currently the most powerful version. He's built different at this point and so powerful TDK just wanted to create his perfect reality. TDK and Perpetua easily scale above CAS and Mandrakk even then their feats are weird and not that good. At worst they're multiversal and at best hyperversal.
@@ricardomilos3872 I guess I have a lot of catching up to do lol. Also I don’t know all too much about DC’s Lucifer as of now. But after doing some surface level research, I’m probably leaning towards him being his own thing and not the greater darkness. Since the greater darkness is on that presence tier. Granted there are some writer statements that seem to imply he might actually be. But honestly this is so interesting that I’ll probably drop a video scaling him, the presence and the endless after reading some more.

No bro cosmic armor is literally confirmed the strongest by the actual cosmology creator. I'm am baffled at people throwing around opinions against actual facts pinpointed in interviews by the fucking creator.
6:41 Cavill's Superman, being one of my main favorite ones in live action. Mainly his feat of destroying the world engine, was because he negated all that force and matter manipulation while being considerably weaker than his normal self and still managed to fly up and essentially one shot that colossal machine. Because within the film, according to Dr.Emil Hamilton who was the scientist with the US Army clearly states that the terraforming beam was changing the nature of matter, making it heavier and denser, like originally was in Krypton. So it was essentially matter manipulation of some kind and Superman went straight up to it. Not only that, but the terraforming beam had immense force acting downwards going by the amount of water it was displacing. So Superman was essentially experiencing 3 different forces against him.The Kryptonian atmosphere that makes him weaker, The matter manipulation effects of the beam and the immense force of the beam acting on Superman when he stood right below it. 16:28 By the other side, I liked the Arkhamverse Superman, even if they made him dirty. His suit and design was my favorite one from the entire game. Although we didn't see his feats, but it did were mentioned within the game, I think this Superman is the most powerful one inside the videogames adaptations or versions of the character so far. Since he was abused by Brainiac to become the ultimate tool of world domination. Even when he was being stabbed with Kryptonite by Wonder Woman, he managed to return to Brainiac’s ship to recover. In normal circumstances if this Superman was the one from Injustice he would had been death, but unfortunately these was not the case. Proving how strong Brainiac's influence over him was. 18:07 The DCAU/Timmverse Superman which is my main favorite one in animation, is nerfed compared to comics Superman. His best feat was diverting Earth by destroying a meteor and also in the Justice League Unlimited series, he withstands direct attacks from powerful adversaries like Darkseid and Amazo. 34:56 Superboy Prime, he is one of the strongest god-like level tier Superman versions, outside there. His feats were fairly enough to consider him as one of the most dangerous and powerful beings in the DC multiverse. Mainly he caused widespread destruction and chaos in his quest to reshape reality to his liking. Also something that I considered very particular about him, was how he came from a world or a universe where superheroes like Superman or Batman were fictional characters on comic books. 47:52 Finally, Cosmic Armor Superman is just on another level, this is by the fact that he can casually interact with various universes and realities since he was essentially a weapon or a plot device who could break through the fourth wall and embodies everything about the comic book, in these case the entire DC comics existence on fiction.
They only thing I explicitly disagree with here is the assumption that Injustice has the same cosmology as the mainline. That feels like a pretty massive speed boost for something the main franchise itself never really implies....
Loved this vid man I was invested 100% I would love to see a Thor or hulk tear list but u know both would be even better …😎😁🙏 god bless keep up the good work my g
You forgot Brandon rough superman who if you scale with reeves would be FTL due to his speed in the news stating that he might be moving at FTL speed feats
I find it EXTREMELY difficult to swallow N52 Superman being above Silver and golden age supes at all... and I'm kinda right to feel that coz the reasoning you gave would've been feasible except for one tiny detail. The N52 Antimonitor's Bio says he was as strong as he was before the first crisis. Which makes sense coz Mobius during the crisis had converted most of the DC multiverse into Antimatter, thus powering him beyond base. Meanwhile the one in n52 had almost nothing save for a few universes he converted to Antimatter to power himself with, then bridged the gap with Anti life equation. Even then N52 supes only truly hang around him after he gave up the anti life equation.

DCAU 1998 Superman is my favorite because at that point in his life, Superman hasnt unlocked his full potential yet. He was still obscenely powerful. But enough force could eventually hurt him or the right abilities. He still thought he had to breathe air, so he had space suits to help him navigate the vacuum of space.
I am once again informing “power scalers” that TNT is not an SI unit of energy. Human body uses roughly 8700 kilojoules for homeostatic functions and daily activities. 1 kilogram of TNT generates 4612 kilojoules of explosive energy. Me existing for one day does not “scale” to wall level because 1 or 2 kg of TNT can destroy a wall and I generate that much energy. I don’t care about how strong Superman is and this isn’t about saying he’s weak. This is about this fandom thinking it’s scientific and logical when most of the people obsessed with it don’t even have a college-track high school level understanding of physics.

Fantastic job. I’ve been Comic Book fan for 50yrs, this has to be one of the most comprehensive breakdowns of Superman well done.
I think we can all agree that the DCAU is the greatest adaptation of the DC Universe. It gave us definitive versions of our beloved characters and it was beautifully written. Nothing tops the DCAU it's too goated. The MCU and DCEU should take notes from the DCAU.
The DCAU definitely has a case for having the greatest animated run. Pretty much every show they dropped was a banger
@@destro3004 It's the peak of comic book adaptations in my opinion.

@@destro3004 Thanks and again great work with the video, I found it quite enjoyable.

Bros yapping
and u tripping
Yapper of death ☠️ also why do you keep bringing up CW Superman only when he’s sun dipped, smallville Superman is way stronger than him
The music selection in this video was heat all the way through.
This is great also can you do a strongest Spider-Man ranking
Also before you do please consider consultancy over implications on chain scaling especially for the live action Spider-Men since some people believe they are city/country level of can react to light speed
Which I disagree with
Great video, although what is the music that plays during DCAU Superman's segment?

one thing i'd like to point out is that the one you called rebirth Superman (the one with the world forger feat) is actually infinite frontier Superman, who is a merged pre crisis post crisis new 52 and rebirth Superman. also the world forger he beat was not weakend he was at full power in the 6 dimension which is his own realm. otherwise great video.
Im sorry but the way cas got introduced gave me chills
I liked the video. Of course there were a few that was questionable in the ranking but it was still an enjoyable video! Nice my guy!

@@destro3004 Of course! For me ANYTHING and ALL THINGS Superman is good for my fix. lol
so underrated keep doing what your doing
Seriously, one big priblem with scaling Superman's power -- to say nothing of scaling it down -- is that *he's SUPERMAN!* From when we first see him effortlessly turning a two-ton car into tinfoil on the cover of the very first issue of Action Comics (June 1938), he *starts out* overwhelming and quickly develops the momentum of a runaway train!

What about Milkman Superman, you didn't add him.
Glad you included smallville.
Now I’m not gonna lie after reading what you said, Infinite Frontiers Superman is on another level.

Great video! It’s always fun comparing which version of a character is the strongest!
It really is
6:41 Cavill's Superman, being one of my main favorite ones in live action.
Most underated channel
47:37 the soundtrack and the CAS is menacing
A video like this on Darkseid would be awesome
Cosmic armor has PLOT MANIPULATION Powers that's game over...
They only thing I explicitly disagree with here is the assumption that Injustice has the same cosmology as the mainline. That feels like a pretty massive speed boost for something the main franchise itself never really implies....

I think this needs to be redone. In Batman V Superman it shows Henry Cavill superman stopped an earthquake of about 6.0 by moving the tectonic plate
Loved the DB Raging Blast songs ;)

Destro, I appreciate your video and even the respect you gave Superman. However, I'm surprised you kept a straight face reading [31:31] and [33:03]. I got a question. Why do we use stuff like superman pushing the moon to make an eclipse for energy?

DCAU 1998 Superman is my favorite because at that point in his life, Superman hasnt unlocked his full potential yet. He was still obscenely powerful.
