I am giving all liquid fertilizers. On my terrace no flower plants. I just planted hibiscus🌺 and zinnia plants. Can you please suggest any remedy
This is due to summer heat and more water evaporation..For this ,
1.please mulch the soil surface thickly (with one inch thickness ) by dry leaves or straw or coco peat.
2. Do watering regularly, at the same time when the stress on plant is minimum..I.e generally, early in the morning..Do not water when the soil is too hot.
3. Spray sour butter milk all over plant leaves once in a week. (Dilute ond liter curd in 50 liters water and soak for 24 hours..Mix well and spray early in the morning.)
4. Never spray harsh pesticides on flowers, spray only butter milk on flowers.
5. Give nutrients to plant to withstand summer heat stress. Occasionally , give water melon rinds fertilizer and aloevera juice fertilizer also ..
6. Use green shade net 50% to protect plants from hot sun.
7. Do hand pollination wherever possible.

Moreover the upper layer of soil is wet with one time watering every day evening. Chettu chikkudu plenty of flower droping not yielding veggies. I have done hand pollination also. For optimum fruit production pot size is 100 liters capacity..With 20 inches dia and 20 inches deapth..A half barrel ( half cut barrel of 220 liters) is enough.
For quick maturity, grafted plant is preferable.

For any variety of plant we cannot say just by seeing the plant. We have to rely on nursery, or graft it from a known tree of good quality fruits.
