I've been interested in scuba diving ever since I was a little kid when I used to watch Lloyd Bridges in Sea Hunt. Don't think I'll be able to learn, though. One of the requirements to learn to dive is you must swim 200 yards. Don't think I can do that.

Hi Steve, saw your comment from 3yrs ago, I really hope you have gone on to take up scuba diving. Don't let the 200yrds put you off. There's no time limit put on that, so it works out as 8 laps of an olympic size pool. You can do them in any style, at any speed. If you're still interested but haven't spoken to a dive club or shop, don't give up and go talk to them!
