I’m going to get my chihuahua puppy girl in 4 days. Lost my lil chi boy 3 years ago. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a puppy so I’m nervous but excited.
I have six chihuahua's and none of them chew through their toys. Try NatureGnaws bully sticks the thin ones. I tried the brand that you use at they got really wet and became a choking hazard.

my chihuahua puppy is obsessed with the pom poms on my blanket and is ripping them off. i don’t know what kind of toy can be like a pom pom for her.
Hummmmm I would try to detour them from chewing on them. I would hate for your puppy to become impacted. Try to divert them with a natural chew.

thank you for this video. I am getting my first Chihuahua on thursday Feb 16/2023.
Hi hope you can help our male long haired chi will not let us touch his frount paws and snaps when trying to cut his nails.
We are wanting to groom him and trim his nails, but due to being bitten a couple of times its very difficult and we have to get the vet to trim them while I hold him.
Any tips on getting him to alow us to do the above without the fight would be appreciated.
Oww and we have tried treats peanutbutter etc to distract him with no avail.
To get him accustom to the act of having his nails trimmed, I would try the burrito technique I discuss in this episode th-cam.com/video/8BSDfDYnLUU/w-d-xo.html and ALSO muzzle him. Reason being, I will assume you yourself will be hesitant to trim and your little guy will totally sense that and basically, take advantage of it. He now knows if he nips, the trimming will stop. He's conditioned the humans. Put a muzzle on him until you gain the confidence ;)

@@therandomauthor5374 play with the toys urself, show ur dog that they arent scary and that they can be fun. When ur dog interacts or shows any interest in the toys try rewarding him/her with a treat and affection
