I just spoke with Pat and John a couple of days ago. I had a marvelous conversation with them - they listened to my plans for my village and made suggestions and viola! But Miriam, I was on the edge of my seat when you started carving that tree trunk in your hand. I almost passed out just from watching. I didn't want you to burn yourself. 😂🤣😂. You had me cracking up laughing!! My husband does the same thing sometimes. He always reminds me to be careful because I never wear gloves. I think I might do a giveaway soon to kick off Christmas in July with a tool. I just want everyone to have one. 😂🤣.

Hi Miriam. Thankyou for the demonstration. I did order 2 pieces from them last year thanks to you. The sculpting and the engraver. I plan to order their hotknife also because the one I bought here malfunctioned after 2 uses and I had to go to the store to exchange it. the new one worked once and malfunctioned too. Soo I am done with them. I will be ordering from Hotwire Foam Factory soon.

How much was that hot wire? Do U replace the wire at all after many uses?
Hello Tori, I believe the free hand router kit is 99.00 and that includes the power supply. It comes with 5 changeable wires. I can tell you I have not replaced my wire on this tool in months after about a dozen uses. I also have owned the sculpting tool with a wire for 4 years and still haven’t had to replace the wire.
