    I just bought one and have 150 rounds through it. My first few shots were off, but then I remembered to squeeze the gun tighter and got very good results. I think the 6 lb trigger is a good safety feature that I will leave alone.

    I have about 3000 rounds on mine, absolutely reliable so far. Added 507k and a TLR-7 sub and you have a great EDC. I had to replace the trigger with PRP trigger though because stock didn’t do well with me.
    Also note the the grip is too thin on the thenar space of the hand even for a medium sized hands like mine. It gets painful to shoot after awhile. I’m waiting for a Hogue grip to be available for the Hellcat Pro.

    I just picked one up over a g48. I’ll let you guys know how it shoots after I break it in but from testing it it felt amazing… felt much better to me than a p365. The trigger feels totally different when live firing it compared to dry firing. The trigger sucks dry fire, go shoot it and you’ll see what I mean.

  • @getthegoons
    @getthegoons 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I like mine. I haven't had any reliability issues as far as firing. There was some issues with some cheap hollow points, where it really didn't want to be manually cycled when I loaded them and didn't go fully into battery when manually cycled. But when actually firing they fed fine so idk.

    Longer barrel equals more accuracy. It still amazes me folks continue to ask this question. That is a nice little package. My question is the grip longer than the grip on the Ruger American compact. I have the Ruger and without the mag with the finger grip extension my pinky dangles in space thus no flush mags for this guy. They cut the mag well at a sharp angle towards the the trigger.

    • @TheJimminiShow

Just wanna make sure if I have the opportunity to order ammo or anything like that I support the right store? Appreciate you and your videos. I got to try the Hellcat Pro at an event Springfield put on at my LGS. 2 of the 5 rounds they allowed me to shoot produced a failure. I looked at the Springfield rep assuming he’d want to look it over but he just shrugged & proceeded to produce 5 rounds for the next guy. I was looking for a new CCW & that was enough for me to skip it & get something else.

    • @patricknesbit2334
      @patricknesbit2334 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hum that was a bit premature and assumptive. I have a Ruger American compact 9mm and a highpoint 9mm that both choked without fail on some cheap aluminum cased ammo I had. It was two mags for both guns at the same point for each. This tells me it was most likely a mag feed issue for both. They both had issues ejecting the spent cartridges as well. The guns ate and ejected everything else I put through without any issues. Most likely something other than the gun going on. 5 rounds is a far cry from a truly accurate test of any guns capabilities. Multiple mags and ammo would be a truer test.

    • @koobs4549
      @koobs4549 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wait a sec, you’re scolding me for being presumptive & you’re entire reply is you assuming a whole lot about a gun you didn’t shoot or experience the failures with. Hypocrite much? I don’t give two shits about a hi-point or a Ruger, I’ve never shot either of those guns. I did shoot this gun though & not only did it fail 2/5 times, but the regular Hellcat that they also had failed 3/5. These weren’t the gun shop’s pistols, these were Springfield’s guns, brought in by a Springfield Sales Rep, a person whose sole job is to sell you on their product. If they can’t figure out what kind of ammo will run in their product, I have no confidence that when I buy it, that they’d be able to diagnose any failures that would occur on the one I’d go home with. I’m no moron when it comes to shooting, I’ve been shooting since I was 5 & grew up in a house with a Dad who was an avid reloader. I was also trying to come back to a brand that let me down in the past. My first micro/compact CCW was an XD-S .45 that had similar issues & is one of only 2 pistols that I’ve ever sold. I’m sorry but 2/5 failures on a gun that I’m going to trust my life with is no bueno.

    I think it’s really funny how the mossberg MC2 series has 416 stainless slide and barrel with a superior finish. Wow the hell cat is just run-of-the-mill carbon formula.. with a finish that’s similar to a Beretta APX. The hellcat is made for a big city inhabitant who just wants a reliable pistol. That does not care about details.

    • @finalcountdown7658
      @finalcountdown7658 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No one wants a Mossberg MC2. The finish on the Hellcat has the standard nitride finish that's found on most duty guns and even many rifle barrels. It's used on their tired and true XD and XDM line. I purchased an XD 4" service model over a decade ago, and the finish still looks great and has held up. I don't see or hear any widespread complaints about the finish, durability, or rust issues with HK Produkt finishes.
      HS Produkt has been manufacturing handguns for decades, and has sold millions worldwide wide whereas Mossberg has been doing it for about 2 years now. Oh, Hellcat with a stainless steel slide is also available if you so choose.
      The Sig P365, Hellcat, M&P 2.0, and Taurus Gx4, and Ruger Max 9 rule and are what most people go for. I'll be surprised MC2 isn't eventually discontinued.

    Werid thing to ask but I am lost with all this gun stuff. My husband and I both agree we should get a gun for the house but we both know nothing about them or even shot a gun before. When we went to asked the only gun store in town where to start they told us about a g17 and it seemed good but then realized my husband was with me and refused to have us "faggots" in their store haha. We are thinking about ordering them online but would like someone who knows about the g17 to say if it's a good fit for someone to start with.

    • @patbrown463
      @patbrown463 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are wanting it to keep at home it is perfect for home defense. I say this because it is a full size firearm which is perfect for duty or home defense but not so much for conceal carry. If you end up with it get a factory glock 33 round magazine for a nice home defense option.

    People begged for single stack subcompact and compact handguns ... then went back to double stack ones like it was a new genre. The whole time the G26 and 19 have been here long enough to have kids in high school 🥲.

    • @TheJimminiShow
      @TheJimminiShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's the same thing that happened with cell phones. Remember in the late 90s early 2000s when they had one that was like the size of a 50 cent piece? And now if your screen is less than six and a half inches you're a noob? Glock 19 got it right with the size and all these other gun companies are starting to come back to that size as the perfect carry. But I'll still take my full size guns personally

    • @curtism-w6b
      @curtism-w6b 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheJimminiShow the phones made more sense. They went from a calling device where small was convenient, to a smart device where a big screen to watch The Jimmini Show is the main function of the device. I guess people forgot how much having 6-9 rounds sucked and had to be reminded. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it!

    • @Skaramine
      @Skaramine 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love the 19 and 26, but there have been people who subjectively felt that they were too thick side to side. Personally, I like all that “meat” to wrap around, and it keeps the trigger reach in the sweet spot instead of too short.

    • @DerWaidmann_
      @DerWaidmann_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You're missing the point. The Glock 26 and Glock 19 are very wide/thick guns. These new guns such as the Hellcat, are as thin as single stack guns yet hold double stack capacity

    • @finalcountdown7658
      @finalcountdown7658 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are the same width and dimensions of single stacks with the same capacity as double stacks.... The G26 and G19 are taller, longer, wider, and heavier than the P365 and Hellcat (Pro).
