This and Singularity are god tier albums. Adrians vocals are sorely missed in metal. He was one of a kind. Marcus is definitely carrying the torch and doing well but I truly do miss the fast and hard approach these boys used to have.
watching you react to this reminded me of the first time i heard this album. i was absolutely blown away, in 2011 it was like nothing i had ever heard before. thanks for helping me take a trip down memory lane!
also, most of these guys were music teachers and understood theory insanely well. this whole album was written out by them on GuitarPro before it was tracked.
Bro I actually fell out of heavy music for a few years an Northlane propelled me back in and I’ve never looked back. You have to listen to singularity and node!!
you gotta check out singularity, its definitely their best album imo and its their most influential album, that album pretty much became the template of what you see now in the metalcore/djent scene
I remember when this album came out and I had it on repeat for months. It was massive for its time! Can you please do the album Divided By by Structures. They where another standout but underrated band from this era
@@davidpwolfe I think it’s great that your going back and listening to old bangers. Just as a side, I know I just requested an album aha but Deep Blue by Parkway Drive was a massive influential and hugely popular release from 2010. I still give it a spin from time to time but yeah an absolute classic.
Marcus is better live for sure Adrian struggled blowing his voice all the time. I truly believe that’s why he hung it up. Hands down as well Adrian was an INCREDIBLE songwriter. Show me the way
Adrian left for various reasons. Improper technique and fatigue affected his voice, and he was wanting to continue his journey into psychology so he went back to uni.
Please for gods sake do yourself a favour and listen to Singularity. It is for sure my favourite Northlane album, and I will probably be forever chasing that sound.

This album is hands down my all time absolute favourite album. The lyrics speak to me like no other has.
Welcome to the light my child
Northlane before the fall. discoveries; singularity; the end. Perfect artifacts forever frozen. (there was a second vocalists for live performances.)
Something that goes unsaid and must be noted is the fact that Adrian was a phenomenal lyricist. He was next level
Singularity must be next! This is also with Adrian
Abrasumente is a play on Spanish words "abra su mente" which means "open up your mind"
Very cool, thanks for the context!
Old Northlane 😍
So good!
Solitude by Northlane will always be my favorite by them. The chorus is next level.
An absolute classic album and one of my favorite of all time. Very few give me the same emotions.

Thanks for listening with me! More Northlane to come!

I'm really looking forward to getting to that one!
Singularity, Node and Mesmer are waiting for you to listen next
Love this idea!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Love northlane, sick reaction. Please react to impulse or augment, old erra, those works are amazing as well.
Thanks man! More Northlane coming soon!

That would be really cool! I loved their comeback EP a couple years ago

When’s that singularity reaction gonna happen
You know, I was just thinking it was time to get back to some old Northlane!

yeah, he couldnt scream quantum flux

Any album sounds similar to this? I just found one, "Polaris - Dichotomy EP". Please let me know guys if you found others 🤟🏻
Liquid Death just like TheoV
It's my favorite!
I like Singularity more, too bad Adrian murdered his voice.
Oh really? I had no idea that his voice got messed up.
@@davidpwolfe I might be wrong, but he wanted to stay in the band.
@@MrDoBaKflips yeah he blew his voice out with touring to where he physically couldnt do it anymore. i read somewhere that hes a psychologist now
@@MrDoBaKflipsI think it was a combination of touring hurting him and him wanting to pursue psych
new northlane sucks and sounds the same and way more tame. the first album and singularly ftw
