Kill the ache and better days are tear jerkers man, they get me every time I listen to those tracks.

I listen on both of those on repeat for that reason, my emotions are buried deep and I feel I don't have any, but those 2 songs remind me that I definitely do (that and too close to touch eiley, I'm a parent and that song kills me from a father perspective)

Chris Wiseman is a monster guitar wizard. The riffs from this album onward aren’t as in-your-face technical and sometimes borderline prog as they were on The Place I Feel Safest, but they are arguably more tasteful and bouncey or singable. Shadow of Intent is the other band Chris is in where he gets to unleash his full guitar nerd shredathon.

this is probably one of my favorite albums ever, i can't tell how much i love it
the song "never there" is probably one of the most soothing songs i have ever heard even with its dark atmosphere

    Great choice of an album!
I’d say it wasn’t innovating on too much in the metalcore scene when it came out, but the obvious effort put into each track definitely paid off. Currents took the best elements existing in metalcore, good songwriting and an epic unique tone, ultimately giving us this masterpiece. Love it!

You really described exactly how I feel about this band. August Burns Red had always been my favorite band, especially Constellations, but the more I listen to this album, I just relate and connect to this more and more with every listen. Chris and Brian really know how to compose something that's the best of everything in Metalcore, lyrically and riff wise. They just don't miss. Zero bad songs. ZERO!!

I listened the shit out of this album and then stopped for 2 - 3 months. But watching your reaction reminds me of how good the album is. All sorts of emotions. 10/10 for me.

I know your not the biggest ERRA fan but if your really in to riffs and guitar work you should check out their self titled and/or augment albums. Both Incredible from start to finish and the guitar work is unlike anything else out there.
