- It was Friday and i had got finished early from work so i decided to get the van packed and made my way up to the eastern side of the Lawers group of mountains. I parked up at the Lawers hotel for the night which only cost ten pounds to stay the night in the camper in the car park. as you will see in the video footage i had a great evenings hike all to myself on these three brilliant Munros.

Nice one Ally, some lovely light when you got up to an Stuc. Looked a cracking evening walk. I loved the final scramble up to An Stuc as well.👍
1st time I tried these 3 from same approach I had to turn back at the 1st, could hardly touch the cairn the wind was that ferocious and it was snowy & claggy, so I just turned back.
Well done on a great wee edit Ally, you certainly know your mountains.👍

Had a great evening out. Frank never bumped into anyone the full time, the views were constantly changing with the clouds rolling in . The weather was great aswell. The last few times I have been at the lawers range the weather was very cold with strong winds so was good to see them in better weather. ATB Ally 👍

Thanks corinna I really enjoyed this one was a bit different doing it at night after work but was great had the full walk to myself, you will enjoy this walk a wee bit of scrambling on An Stuc but apart from that fairly straight forward Atb Ally 👍

Thanks again Janice had a fantastic evening on the mountains that night was good to do a later walk for a wee change , great views as well and was good the hotel let you park overnight for a small fee as there's no other place to park for this walk. ATB Ally 👍

Hi tam was great to do an evening walk for a wee change , had a good path all the way aswell, yip an stuc was a bit of a scramble up the last bit to the top but adds to the enjoyment , the lochan was jumping with fish that night would be a cracking place for a wild camp and some fishing. ATB Ally👍
