    Instead of mayonnaise and cream cheese I’d use hummus. A much healthier option.

      Well, mayo and cream cheese are not unhealthy. The quantity that you consume can be unhealthy but they are ingredients high in nutrition. So healthy is rather vague description.

      There are good egg-free mayo spreads such as Hampton Creek's Just Mayo (60 cal per tablespoon also) and Follow Your Heart's Vegenaise. Hellman's has an egg-free one now but although it is acceptable, Just Mayo and Vegenaise are much tastier to me. Just Mayo is the cheapest.
      Tofu can actually be mashed with a fork and mixed with usual egg salad ingredients for eggless egg salad. Needs to stay in the fridge an hour or two for best absorption of flavors by the tofu, but it's ok gobbled down instantly also.
      Tuna-free tuna salad just uses mashed garbanzo beans (chickpeas) instead of tuna.

      KOI TOI - not everybody can use cream cheese or egg-containing mayo. People can be allergic or intolerant to eggs and dairy (like me) or not want to eat them because of personal taste or knowing where they have been... people eating vegan, for example. This all adds up to a reasonable percentage of the population. So alternatives are nice to know about. I need to try hummus on a sandwich sometime. I like the ingredients in sandwiches (chickpeas or sesame tahini), so it makes sense.

      Ms. Raka I don’t know that you’ll ever see this but you can purchase a small electric chopper that will turn your ingredients into mush in a heartbeat for under 20.00 so pay close attention if ya use one.
      My hands don’t work too well so this little chopper is great. Best wishes to you and all who read this and please stay healthy ;-)

    Those all look incredible. just need to add a little heat to those tortillas before you wrap them, they wont break apart so easily. Still everything made my mouth water

      I’m making a tuna salad wrap tonight: It has celery (naturally), greens of various kinds and ranch rather than mayo in the tuna salad.
      I just found his channel so I’m a new sub. I’ve never dieted before but I could loose a few now that I’m older. I was undiagnosed hyperthyroid for *decades* because my blood work was always “perfect” even when I grew a large goiter very quickly and I had *all the symptoms.*
      I had a complete thyroidectomy because a *nurse practitioner* immediately ordered a CT and and thyroid uptake test. All hail *Nurse Practitioners.* They actually seem to listen to patients instead of looking at numbers on the most basic of thyroid tests.

    Hey i noticed near the end you started to full enclose the wraps. A suggestion id like to make to prevent them from splitting or tearing, you can steam the tortillas for a couple seconds to quickly warm them up so the tortilla is a little more forgiving or if you warm them up quickly on a frying pan with a few drops of water or damp paper towel and microwave. but it has been over a year since this video so yeaaa.

    A lot of commenta about grating eggs... if you do some research, you will find that a lot of recipes from other cultures, such as Eastern European salads, have grated eggs. It works quite well!

    I wanted to share with the group that there is a brand of tortilla by Ole that is low glycemic. Whether you are a type 1 or type 2 diabetic or pre-diabetic or nowhere in the ranges. I think that following a low carb diet it's beneficial. Type 1 diabetic is autoimmune. Type 2 and 3 diabetes can often be controlled. It's important that we know the distinction between type one and type two. So I have been looking at low glycemic foods to use. The only raps are used are made with flaxseed and whole week. They are 50 calories and 16 carbs. We know that 15 cards is a serving. And if you are a woman you tend to need more than a man. But I've used these recipes but substituted some ingredients for lower-calorie or lower carb ingredients. And 7 months I've lost 50 lb. And that is because all I have been doing is substituting and subtraction. I don't use mayonnaise in my tuna, I use mustard. But these are definitely some recipes that I will be trying this week. Also try to find a low-calorie brand tuna. To wear the first recipe with 320. I can take off at least a hundred calories by substituting low calorie ingredients.
    Remember calories is calories. And if your goal is to maintain your weight or weight loss. Please be mindful of that.

      so im here because my bf has stomach problems and can't eat the usual his family makes here at home(greasy foods ,takeout) . so i always have to think of somthing not so heavy and thick and filling bc he starts having chest and stomach pains . he thinks it's somthing called gurd but I really have no idea

      It's easy to make substitutions for simple stuff like this. I won't add meat or eggs etc. because I'm vegetarian and allergic to eggs and dairy. You can use commercial veggie alternatives for the meat or just add beans for protein, whole or mashed. Nutritional yeast plus ground nuts and seeds gives things a cheesy taste and good nutrition.nut and seed and peanut butter likewise are good additions to crunchy veg. My favorite Peanut butter sandwich filling is peanut butter, chopped onions, and chopped or shredded carrots. But any crunchy veg works well. Even broccoli.

      Wrap in plastic then foil or foil first then freezer or bread bag but they’ll hold in the fridge a few days

    Since those cucumbers seem to have edible seeds - they must be something like English cucumbers (seedless cucumbers, not really but the seeds are small and soft like in the video). If so - the peel should be quite edible (not bitter at all) and no need to peel it. Just wash and slice or chop.
    I think the English cucumbers actually are a good bargain even though they are priced high here in the Midwestern US. Ours seem to come from Canada.
    Organic carrots don't actually have to be peeled, just scrub well. Same for others not in the organically grown category, I guess, if you haven't yet reached your Daily Minimum Requirement for pesticide residues... (The organically grown ones typically taste a whole lot better also, probably for a variety of reasons.) I myself throw caution to the winds and eat the peel of baked potatoes, though.
