So funny that you pointed out that lego tower as the only other one that may be taller than the tower you were in because that's the King Power Mahanakhon Tower which has the Mahanakhon Skywalk. That's where all of the people are because it's completely outdoors with the best views and glass floor that you can walk on to see the streets below. Just ironic that you pointed it out because that's the main tower to see the views of Bangkok rather than the one you were in.

Honestly the heat in Bangkok is unreal, I went in Feb a couple years ago and I was a lil hungover, needed food but soooo warm and I like half fainted on the BTS and had to stumble off the train and sit on the platform while one of the security guards fanned me with his signal thing😂 hope you're both having a fab time!!!

How did you find the food in Bangkok? There's incredible veggie/vegan restaurants there when I was 3 years ago. I visited some vegan Thai restaurant s and the infamous vegan waffle house too. I really miss the Thai vegan food.

two questions:
I heard the prayer call while you were at the temple - do people visit the temple to worship? I know that Buddhists don't have a vicar/pulpit type of oratory or formal service, but are there "monks" or "priests" at the temples?
Also, despite the high humidity and temperatures, you don't seem as concerned with sunburn as you were in Santorini or Mykonos? Is the angle of the sun, or at least the intensity, less there than in Greece?
