I am currently updating my gear and after some research I decided to buy this pedal and I have been watching a lot of videos about it but I gotta honestly tell you that yours is the best!; you are really showcasing the pedal, the sound you can get with it and the tweaks you did to get such sound. Mostly of all other videos are guys just showing off their guitar techniques and stuff not really related to the pedal itself. This has been helpful in so many ways man!, my pedal is currently on my way, so I’ve saved this video to my Favorites to use it as a point of reference as soon as the pedal arrives.

You know, this was quite useful for me... Excellent review my man... You should do the same with the Joyo's Dark Flame, which is also a great option on distorted sounds!!

Superb review. I watched some other demos of the Uzi and didn't like it. But it has certain hype on pedal groups so I decided to come back. You made it sound really cool. Now I understand its popularity. How would you compare it with a Metal Muff?
Thanks so much, man! Glad the review was helpful. I have the Metal Muff as wall, and personally, I think this pedal has a lot more character. The I'm a big fan of the Big Muff original, but I thought the MM was a bit dry in its tone. Definitely has its uses for sure, but the Uzi is more versatile in my personal opinion. Have a good one!

@@JustinBlair by the way. I noticed you said this is a higher gain pedal you are used to play. I have another gain pedal that kind of lacked that more high gain area, that's why this UZI is awesome for the price, but it's actually very good and it's cheap. It's the Blackstar LT Drive. For the price you might be interested. Hope it can be helpful, and there can never be enough gain pedals right?? hehe

Thanks for the question! Are you planning to use the drive as a boost for solos/leads? This pedal has a ton of gain already, but yes you can absolutely add a drive pedal in the signal chain to get a little more saturation. Thanks for watching!

Ah good question - I haven't tried the Extreme Metal, but I do love this pedal and definitely recommend it

Thanks for watching! Yeah can definitely get some great Slash tones with a Les Paul and the toggle in the 'rhythm' setting - I would use a somewhat low gain setting on the Uzi, and turn the bias knob down a bit as well.

Man this looks really versatile than thr mosky black rat. Can anyone confirm if there are any better all around distortion pedal than this?
To be honest, I have kept this on my board since I got it - great great pedal! If you find a better hard rock distortion pedal, let me know
bro,this one based on friedman be-od. so its totally different with Rat style etc. its totally same with Caline Jaguar.. be-od based

Is this pedal based on the Friedman BE OD?
I believe so! It definitely has that sort of tone, and the color scheme is reminiscent of Friedman as well. I really dig it.

Lacks bass and clarity something is missing
Thanks for the input - it has a bunch of knobs to dial in a ton of different tones, I just didn't have time in the video to cycle through every setting haha, but I dig it
