What i find funny is how fight broke out there was time tp radio gardi, off duty staff tried to stop the fight but bus was still carrying on its route 🤣
Easy to overturn any vehicle given the correct conditions. The camber around that corner is quite adverse. A sudden turn from a loaded high sided vehicle would easily cause it to tip
What was the reg number of this bus? Is it 9? JZL or 5 JZL? Although 51JZL to 59JZL were based at Conyngham Road Depot. JZL? 92JZL to 101JZL were based at Ringsend Depot where the 50A operated from. 90JZL and 91JZL were based at Summerhill Depot. I would have thought this bus would have been written off as it was involved in a major accident. As to when this incident happened. Well the ambulance at the 40 second mark has the registration WZV658 which was issued in January 1986. So I'm assuming sometime between 1986 and 1990? Does anyone else have any thoughts?
October 1 1989 My grandfather had a heart attack that same night and it took the ambulance 90 mins to arrive, needless to say he didn't survive. At the time we didn't know about the overturned bus but i suppose all those people with bumps and bruises are more important than a heart attack.😞
The night bus were like a party back in the day to tallaght lol

And KD146 as well, the only KD with the Cummins L10 and Voith.
Bring back the Laz
Typical RTE making a disaster movie out it.
I was told there were 500 on that bus, at the last count :D
Alison Double Decker Can Only Hold 75 People Sitting, Not Including Standing.
Dude, I know! Just a comment re. the compo claims!
Highly unlikely considering that those particular buses had a maximum capacity of only 85
