It depends on the method you’re using. For cakes, putting it on the floor so the yarn feeds upwards will help but you will have to untwist it every so often. For skeins, they knees to be untwisted every so often. I usually pull upwards and a part on my two yarn ends and the skein untwists

It tangles and twists, how do u avoid this?
