Gotta give extra props to Greg Lee and all the other game show hosts that had to deal with kids. It takes a special kind of person to be able to approach and communicate with kids the way they do.
Exactly Lynne Thigpen, Greg Lee, Marc Summers, Robin Marella Russo, Wesley Eure, Jack Barry, Wink Martindale, Jim Lange, Jim Perry, Dick Clark, Chuck Woolery, Peter Marshall, JD Roth, The Forrest Twins, Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak, Vanna White They all did well with Kids/Teens God Bless'em All
I also really enjoy seeing Lynn Thigpen in those early classic episodes of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?," its sequel PBS show "Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego,?" and as a judge in the "Hank's Dirty Laundry" episode of "King of the Hill." Oh my God, in a ton of these "Where in the World" episodes, especially the early ones from the first series, Lynn Thigpen is so funny, especially when she is stern. As per her duty as the ACME Crimenet Chief, Thigpen doesn't put up with any nonsense. She absolutely won't take any illicitly foolish nonsense from Carmen or any of her crooks nor any silly nonsense from Greg.
@@buachaillfeadog2129 If they did revive the show, I could see Greg Lee being promoted to Chief. And if that's the case, who would make a good new host?
As disgusting as it sounds, I always kinda liked it whenever Top Grunge called to rat out Carmen. It was mainly Greg's reaction after he sneezed into the phone. Thanks for the uploads.
Even I thought a new Carmen Sandiego episode involving the Space Needle in Seattle by Kneemoi. I thought a that kind of episode I came up with is Space Needle Steal.
Lynne Thigpen keeps tripping up on her words but honestly it makes it so much more interesting that way. It's something that's totally missing from modern TV where every take is perfect and there's no room for actors to be themselves.
The first season was the best. They actually did the Chief's segments live, as evident by the Chief saying the departing contestants' name, while reading off the parting gifts. But starting with season two, they began pre-taping them, before taping any of the episodes. Not as good, in my opinion.
Also, having seen S2 and beyond - the Chief's Office was blocked/hidden off camera - in some season 1 episodes, you could actually see the office from the left side of the stage. Also, Season 1 episodes show the Jailtime Challenge is actually being done on the right side of the stage..
Great upload, this was one of my favorite shows growing up! I checked your "About" Tab and it didn't say requests weren't accepted, but if I'm wrong I apologize. There's an episode of The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime, another one of my favorite shows growing up, by the way, that used to be available until the associated TH-cam channel got terminated. Donald/Kathi vs. Phillip/Barbara, and it was in shaky but watchable quality and did not contain commercials. I don't know if you still do trades or not, or if traders and/or retired traders notify other users whom they happen to know are okay with requests and have what a person is looking for about the person looking for it, or if the looker has to do it himself, but sometime in the future, I hope to somehow, somewhere, see this episode again as described. Thank you.

Thank you. It wasn't until last night that I found a good DVD ripping system. Next week I'll be going back to college but I'll still find time to upload these videos, it's just that when I'm bombarded with requests for what I never promised, it comes across like toddlers asking for dessert when you've already said no.
Anton Spivack Anton, I just want you to know that I'm as patient as ever, so take your time whatsoever about uploading these episodes. In the meantime, thanks again, & I look forward to more eps soon!
This was the first episode I recorded that had “the voice.” Too bad that was short-lived throughout the series. There was one episode in Season 2 that had something like it, but I think that was it.😔
From the tar pits, Grunge could've driven a stake into it. And why, you ask?? Well, haven't you ever heard of ""Stake" ""Tar"-"Tar"" ("Steak Tartare")??
I'm trying to make the cast lists for specific episodes of this show on IMDb more complete. But I'm not sure how to refer to the god-like character with Barry Carl's voice. Should I credit him as "the myseterious being from above" or something like that? Any ideas?
