Charlotte is a kindred spirit as she's not the only one who wears her slippers outdoors.

Yes!! I'd stay in a Hobbit House LOL 😅 Luke and Sarahs Offgrid Life built two, large, cob, pig houses; they are beautiful!

It’s exciting getting more and more of your land cleared. Looking forward to seeing more of it as you go along. Good progress.

Hi guys, just an idea to help with making gardening easier as u have lots 😂 how about raised veg beds? U can make them from stones, wood, old roof slates. Just make it more structured too! I'll send u some pics on Instagram. Even corrugated sheeting. Also those wild Iris's are beautiful, could Carlos dig them up and moved to front if ur house? ❤

I think we are going to use some scrap wood and the left over sheet metal we have around to make some. Would be good for pumpkins, watermelons ect where we have loads of space in the big fields. We have some irises near our house that haven’t bloomed yet. They grow everywhere around here. I’ve spotted them in a near by cork Forrest aswell

Thank you! We don’t know why they do it we never trained them. I think the mum did it so the 2 boys just copied. It’s very cute 🥰

I admire all your hard work. Keep at it! Also, why don't you get a couple of goats (or offer to have someone graze their goats) on some of those fields. Would help keep the brambles down.

I love watching your videos! You are both very nice and lovely people!
I wonder why your channel isn't growing. I came across other people who called their channel "The Greendream Project".
The name didn't work so well, they changed it and the channel has been growing ever since. They changed it to "Our Self Reliant Life" and it worked much better. I wish you all the best!

I agree I watch them every week Carlos works so hard. I have seen other comments a while back more about Charlotte than Carlos how she just keeps hanging round his neck and it doesn’t seem to go down well maybe a name change and a format tweak would help xx

Yes. Maybe just adding Portugal to the end of your name title. 😊

Hi, I really like your videos! Maybe Carlos could do with a tractor and a brush cutter etc to make clearing easier he sure does work hard but it is a massive task. Your garden is going to be so productive thus year.

We want one. But we need to actually clear all th bits by hand first as you can access most of the land as it is. Hopefully one day 🤞

Welcome to Portugal! The cherry festival of usually beginning of June. It changes every year depending on when harvesting starts. It is in the village of Alcongosta. It should take around 40mins -1hr from where you are. It’s a beautiful village and well worth the drive 😊

Hey sorry we didn’t reply we have been on full catch up mode 😅 I always say check out Alcongosta or Alcaide if you are in fundão area. I’ve also been interested in exploring the area between Monsanto and penamacore. It’s very beautiful but a little wild round there 😅 honestly the list is so long of places to visit though. It’s all pretty stunning. Carlos is back at work this week but should have Thursday/Friday off if you wanted to meet for a coffee. There was a cool park up spot near the river by Silvares/Ourondo but we don’t really go camping that often sorry. I would offer to park up on our for a night but we just dug a huge trench across our driveway to sort out water management. Sorry 😅

    Is your chainsaw not working?

    • @TheSunnySaudadeProject
      @TheSunnySaudadeProject  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

It is. We just found with broom it’s easier with the pole saw as it’s easier to get in between all the little branches ect. Chainsaw is a bit chunky. 😊 it’s quite soft so doesn’t take a lot of effort aswell

@@TheSunnySaudadeProject 👍🏼 Great job opening up all that land. It’s looking quite nice. Someday I imagine you have quite the food forest. Maybe you’ll be selling your own fruit and veg at the market. 😊
