She was outside of a clinic because some family members pressured her to get an abortion, because a baby at 16 would ruin her life... her best guy friend, a Christian, raced over to the clinic as soon as he heard where she was going, got in the car with her, and talked her into choosing life. He passed before I was old enough to thank him. But, I'm so happy there was him. I'm so happy there are people like him. Giving strength to those who need it.

When I tried to book my abortion all three of the clinics I had contacted only had an available appointment for the type of abortion I wanted, on my birthday. I couldn't do that to myself. I kept her. She is 24 now and my best friend. I love her so much. Thank God He stopped me.

It is true that there are exceptions, but they are in the minority of cases. Also, I don't see how a woman having an out-of-wedlock child "shows" that she's "family and child oriented": if she's family-oriented, then where is the family (esp. husband)? And as for having a child, that fact only shows 2 things: (1) that physiologically, she does not have the infertility problem, and (2) that she's willing to sleep with men, to whom she's not married (hence might be unfaithful to her husband). I also hope that this woman is married and happy, but we don't know what happened to her, because this question didn't get answered. BTW, it's a bit unclear how you define "proper men", because if I were to interpret what you wrote _literally,_ then under your definition, "proper men are men, who are attracted to children". ;-)

My mom was advised to abort me. I was her 4th pregnancy. Just two months earlier she had given birth to twins and it was an extremely difficult birth and she was clinically dead for several minutes. A tremendous amount of damage had been done to her womb and she was actually coming in to get her tubes tied when the doc realized she was pregnant with me. He told her that she came in for a procedure and he could easily do a D&C and no one would be the wiser. The last thing she wanted was another kid especially with 4 little ones at home including twin infants. She and dad talked about it and they just couldn’t bring themselves to do it (they were not religious). So they had me! I came out healthy and she had zero issues with the pregnancy and delivery. They said I was a happy and easy baby and an every easy child to raise. Im so thankful they chose to have me.
My Mom's doctor advised my mom to abort me because tests were showing I was supposed to be born with down syndrome. The nurse told my mom she thinks it was just the steroids they had given her that messed up the tests. My mom told the doctor she wanted me no matter how I came. I was born without down syndrome. But could you imagine what would've happened if my Mom didn't want a down syndrome baby or if she believed it was have been more "merciful" to kill me? I would've never been born and neither would my son and daughter.

First they wanted abortion only for rape victims, then it was for everyone, then they wanted it later and later in the pregnancy. Soon they will want it up to a year after the child is born! And there are lots of families who would adopt these children if the process was easier. The adoption process should be so. The solution isn't making abortion more accessible, but making adoption easier.

I always thought it was just a cluster of cells but I was never someone who saw it up close and personal like her. She always knew what was being done during these procedures. With my second pregnancy I was going through a lot and had health problems as well so I really considered abortion. This led me to look up abortion and how it was done, including what happened to the baby. I went to bed that night with my arms wrapped around my belly thanking God I looked it up. Today my Samuel is one best parts of my life.

I admit I was one of those people who thought first trimester was not life yet however after seeing only a 10 week old fetus look no different than a newborn baby (just smaller and with a little less pronounced features) my mind has completely been turned around 😢

As an atheist AND a scientist, I DO know that there is a HUGE difference between an embryo and a fetus. An embryo becomes a fetus in TWO months. There is a beating heart and brain waves, and, sexuality is determined, and, the genetic fingerprint is complete. And, the fetus feels PAIN. Science, technology, and, modern imaging has proven ALL of this since roe in 1973. We now know much more. It is a CHILD at 2 months. There is intrinsically NO difference between an infant and a fetus, except for size and vulnerability. Abortion after TWO months is undeniably murder. It is genocide.

it's because empathy and human-ness are not taught as part of learning about modern medicine. Doctors are told and taught to turn off or disconnect with their emotions because otherwise they interfere with decision making and making tough choices when called for. You might do some reasearch on this, and I won't go into it, but we can all blame the Rockefellers for what modern medicine has become and how it is taught in medical colleges. Be merciful. I had two abortions long before I was a Christian. The second one made me so upset. Years later I had a daughter and through trying to raise her properly I finally came to Christ. If I had had a child sooner I know I would have come to Christ sooner. It’s one way he causes us to come to Him, by having children. I’ve repented of course but my heart is so heavy still when I think of it and my stomach turns. I cannot believe I did that. I am so glad the Lord led me to Him and didn’t harden my heart forever. I lost a baby at 10 weeks pregnant. I remember what I saw when that beautiful little life left my body and no-one will ever tell me that they are not human beings. They have arms and legs and fingers and toes and little faces with eyes and they have a soul that they deserve to express in their physical body. It breaks my heart that this happens so freely and so frequently with willing participants. This happened to me and my unborn son or daughter 13 years ago and I remember how I felt just like it was yesterday. I now have 2 beautiful children, a son who is 11 and a daughter who is almost 2 and they are my world. I understand that women are responsible for their actions but how come when I scroll through the comments I don't see anything about the fathers? Why are we targeting the women as if they got pregnant on their own? We all know a man was involved. That baby has a father that needs to take responsibility for their actions as well. Very often women are left alone and although they still are accountable, so are the men. Where are the fathers when these women go to get an abortion? Is it the man encouraging her to get one? The list goes on. In other cases the fathers can want the baby while the mothers dont, that's possible too. But all these comments are targeting how bad the women are when two people were involved in this. They can't hold all the blame. Jesus will forgive them if they ask. We are no better than them, we sin too. Love them anyway, a lot of them probably already feel enough guilt as it is.

My wife was told by doctors to abort our second child, because they assured us he was going to be down syndrome. We didn't because we believe that if that was what God wanted us to have then he would also give us the ability to look after him. When he was born they had a team of doctors ready to look after him because they expected for him to not survive, but he was fine, he is now 6 years old and full of life. We are so thankful for the life of our healthy boy, but we would be just as thankful if he was down syndrome. Praise God for his goodness and for the gift of life.

Gods mercy and grace is like no other. I live with the grief of abortion when I was told I had to when I was 16 yrs old. All this catches up with you. I am a 70 yr old pathologist. Have done over 1000 autopsies, spend time at the Medical Examiners office, dictated the “gross description”, of each abortion done at a hospital. I prayed for each of them… I never understood how physicians like me, could think It’s OK ato,perform elective abortions as a means of contraception. THIS IS NOT WHAT IS TAUGHT IN MEDICAL SCHOOLS! THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO HaVE NO CONSCIENCE AND DO THIS FOR THE MONEY! I a have never killed anyone voluntarily or involuntarily as a physician during clinical residency. Some of the things we see, situations we are involved in, are things we never forget. I learned to compartmentalize. All this is catching up to me as I age. We tend to show less emotions in public, and this also becomes evident in family… now that I am by myself for one year, these situations and things I have seen, tend to come back out of nowhere & I get tearful. I am still working, but in the cancer area. Love talking to patients and their families. I love doing what I do and just go home to sleep!
I had 3 abortions, scheduled for 4 but miscarried on the way to clinic. I was a drug addict who knew that at the time couldn't stop, the father was my abusive partner that I knew I would be tied to for life. I look back now and it was so so so wrong what I did. I'm now 8yrs clean from drugs but I can't ever forgive myself. I am now unable to have children though I want to because of the complications from those abortions. My oldest son always wanted a sibling and I can't do that for him. I have so much regret, my heart aches all the time.

My mom was 16 when she became pregnant with me. She was outside of a clinic because some family members pressured her to get an abortion, because a baby at 16 would ruin her life... her best guy friend, a Christian, raced over to the clinic as soon as he heard where she was going, got in the car with her, and talked her into choosing life. He passed before I was old enough to thank him. But, I'm so happy there was him. I'm so happy there are people like him. Giving strength to those who need it.

Also, I don't see how a woman having an out-of-wedlock child "shows" that she's "family and child oriented": if she's family-oriented, then where is the family (esp. husband)? And as for having a child, that fact only shows 2 things: (1) that physiologically, she does not have the infertility problem, and (2) that she's willing to sleep with men, to whom she's not married (hence might be unfaithful to her husband).
I also hope that this woman is married and happy, but we don't know what happened to her, because this question didn't get answered.

My mom was advised to abort me. I was her 4th pregnancy. Just two months earlier she had given birth to twins and it was an extremely difficult birth and she was clinically dead for several minutes. A tremendous amount of damage had been done to her womb and she was actually coming in to get her tubes tied when the doc realized she was pregnant with me. He told her that she came in for a procedure and he could easily do a D&C and no one would be the wiser. The last thing she wanted was another kid especially with 4 little ones at home including twin infants. She and dad talked about it and they just couldn’t bring themselves to do it (they were not religious). So they had me! I came out healthy and she had zero issues with the pregnancy and delivery. They said I was a happy and easy baby and an every easy child to raise. Im so thankful they chose to have me.

My Mom's doctor advised my mom to abort me because tests were showing I was supposed to be born with down syndrome. The nurse told my mom she thinks it was just the steroids they had given her that messed up the tests. My mom told the doctor she wanted me no matter how I came. I was born without down syndrome.
But could you imagine what would've happened if my Mom didn't want a down syndrome baby or if she believed it was have been more "merciful" to kill me? I would've never been born and neither would my son and daughter.

I always thought it was just a cluster of cells but I was never someone who saw it up close and personal like her. She always knew what was being done during these procedures. With my second pregnancy I was going through a lot and had health problems as well so I really considered abortion. This led me to look up abortion and how it was done, including what happened to the baby. I went to bed that night with my arms wrapped around my belly thanking God I looked it up. Today my Samuel is one best parts of my life.
People dont want to accept that life starts at conception, however at that moment the DNA is set. Its down in writing as to what color eyes and hair the child will have. Even brain type is determined( creative or analytic and left or right handed)

I admit I was one of those people who thought first trimester was not life yet however after seeing only a 10 week old fetus look no different than a newborn baby (just smaller and with a little less pronounced features) my mind has completely been turned around 😢

As an atheist AND a scientist, I DO know that there is a HUGE difference between an embryo and a fetus. An embryo becomes a fetus in TWO months. There is a beating heart and brain waves, and, sexuality is determined, and, the genetic fingerprint is complete. And, the fetus feels PAIN. Science, technology, and, modern imaging has proven ALL of this since roe in 1973. We now know much more. It is a CHILD at 2 months. There is intrinsically NO difference between an infant and a fetus, except for size and vulnerability. Abortion after TWO months is undeniably murder. It is genocide.

it's because empathy and human-ness are not taught as part of learning about modern medicine. Doctors are told and taught to turn off or disconnect with their emotions because otherwise they interfere with decision making and making tough choices when called for. You might do some reasearch on this, and I won't go into it, but we can all blame the Rockefellers for what modern medicine has become and how it is taught in medical colleges. Be merciful. I had two abortions long before I was a Christian. The second one made me so upset. Years later I had a daughter and through trying to raise her properly I finally came to Christ. If I had had a child sooner I know I would have come to Christ sooner. It’s one way he causes us to come to Him, by having children. I’ve repented of course but my heart is so heavy still when I think of it and my stomach turns. I cannot believe I did that. I am so glad the Lord led me to Him and didn’t harden my heart forever. I lost a baby at 10 weeks pregnant. I remember what I saw when that beautiful little life left my body and no-one will ever tell me that they are not human beings. They have arms and legs and fingers and toes and little faces with eyes and they have a soul that they deserve to express in their physical body. It breaks my heart that this happens so freely and so frequently with willing participants. This happened to me and my unborn son or daughter 13 years ago and I remember how I felt just like it was yesterday. I now have 2 beautiful children, a son who is 11 and a daughter who is almost 2 and they are my world. Children are a gift to us and we must protect them at all costs, regardless of whether they are in-utero or born. I will always protect my own and every other child on this Earth with every fibre of my being. They need us ❤️

I understand that women are responsible for their actions but how come when I scroll through the comments I don't see anything about the fathers? Why are we targeting the women as if they got pregnant on their own? We all know a man was involved. That baby has a father that needs to take responsibility for their actions as well. Very often women are left alone and although they still are accountable, so are the men. Where are the fathers when these women go to get an abortion? Is it the man encouraging her to get one? The list goes on. In other cases the fathers can want the baby while the mothers dont, that's possible too. But all these comments are targeting how bad the women are when two people were involved in this. They can't hold all the blame.
Jesus will forgive them if they ask. We are no better than them, we sin too. Love them anyway, a lot of them probably already feel enough guilt as it is.

My wife was told by doctors to abort our second child, because they assured us he was going to be down syndrome. We didn't because we believe that if that was what God wanted us to have then he would also give us the ability to look after him. When he was born they had a team of doctors ready to look after him because they expected for him to not survive, but he was fine, he is now 6 years old and full of life. We are so thankful for the life of our healthy boy, but we would be just as thankful if he was down syndrome.

Right. What’s crazy is if any of these women who have had abortions delivered the baby, and dumped them in the trash, they’d be charged with murder. Isn’t this ironic? So they’re alive only after taking a breath out of the womb? This is such insanity. Another irony is, that women who claimed to have delivered a stillborn baby also get arrested for disposing of them. So maybe the baby taking its first breath outside of the womb isn’t what constitutes life? I just can’t make sense of any of this.

Gods mercy and grace is like no other. I live with the grief of abortion when I was told I had to when I was 16 yrs old. I still struggle very much with forgiving myself, especially now I have 3 beautiful children that I look at every day and wonder what my baby would of looked like. I'm so greatful for the Lords mercy on me , and maybe one day I will be able to forgive myself

These comments are truly horrendous! It is not our place to judge her salvation. JESUS heals and if we repent God forgives us our trespasses! He is now using her to fight abortions and her past gives her an upperhand because she was performing them! We all have a past and our own sins we struggle with.

I a have never killed anyone voluntarily or involuntarily as a physician during clinical residency.
Some of the things we see, situations we are involved in, are things we never forget. I learned to compartmentalize. All this is catching up to me as I age. We tend to show less emotions in public, and this also becomes evident in family… now that I am by myself for one year, these situations and things I have seen, tend to come back out of nowhere & I get tearful. I am still working, but in the cancer area. Love talking to patients and their families. I love doing what I do and just go home to sleep!

I had 3 abortions, scheduled for 4 but miscarried on the way to clinic. I was a drug addict who knew that at the time couldn't stop, the father was my abusive partner that I knew I would be tied to for life. I look back now and it was so so so wrong what I did. I'm now 8yrs clean from drugs but I can't ever forgive myself. I am now unable to have children though I want to because of the complications from those abortions. My oldest son always wanted a sibling and I can't do that for him. I have so much regret, my heart aches all the time.

Sidenote regarding the heartbeat protection act: the heartbeat with recent technology is detectable at 3 and a half weeks, not 6! Meaning the baby is confirmed to be alive even sooner than the 6 week stage!
