Great year for music. My childhood right here how I miss it so much. So many good songs. I disagree. Too much rap & country. Not enough classic pop.
Haven't heard Amerie and Mario till 2005 and Wyclef Jean in 2006. Too young that time, no internet in the province. My most favorite song that year anyway was The Game of Love, it was played many times on local stations (I copied the lyrics from a song book, it was called song hits that time). I even sang this song twice earlier today, hours ago before watching this countdown.
Oh u missed out on some good times then. If u missed the 90s u really missed out. This was the last real good year of music. 2003-2005 was good. But by 2006 it went to hell. It was like the worst year of music for a long time. Digital era really ruined it but artists were just releasing crappy songs. Hip hop bc big and it was just crap that kept getting releasing. Rock died off, r&b was starting to, it was just a mess. Enjoy 1980-2006 bc that’s about all the best years of music besides a few in the 50s, 60s, & 70s.

music was unremarkable during the 2000s and has remained there. thank god we're well into the streaming era that i can hit up bangers of the 90s and back instead of relying on radio pumping out modern trash
