I usually do everything myself for obvious reasons. But, I was a little Intimidated by lowering my c20. The few shops in my surrounding area of Windham Ohio, all told me it can't be done and no one has parts for this job. Lol. I will contact western chassis for this kit, and do it my self. Lol. It Actually doesn't rub at all. And it still has its factory inner fenders.

@built2beat38 I've been checking different builds to see what would look best for my 82 c20. And also what ones have the least amount of headaches to install. Your stuff didn't seem to bad other then the rear axle hanger that needed to be sanded.

Did you order 20×8 front wheels , cause I seem to find anyone that carries 8 inch wide?

So how much did it pull the front wheels in? ¼ maybe? Im trying to order rims now and need to know what the offset will be. Im getting 20x9 with a -12 offset And im hoping they will fit.

The frunt wheels are 20x8;8 x 165.1 (6.5")
BS 4.75"
That's exactly how we ordered the front wheels.

What lowering springs did you use in the front of the c20?

They were the ones that came with the western chassie lowering kit.

Another question.... What is your measurements in front and rear in your truck 1983 Chevy C20?

Thanks for asking. It is a 6"drop in the front and 8" drop in the rear.

Do you need to replace springs and shocks or could you just use the drop spindles

You could do that, but it wouldn't get as low. And I don't know if the shocks would work.

Detroit steel 20x8 and 20x9. Toyo proxies rears are 295 40 r20
Fronts are 245 45 r20
