They literally had a plan set to defeat a juggernaut of an Indian team and everything went like clockwork. Great execution. Usually in a world cup final you have to be ready to change your plans and get creative but Cummins strategy was so well executed that they had the Indian batsmen wrapped around their fingers the whole match.

They reached semi with all the luck their matches against Afg, Pak & NZ they did not win it comprehensively, whereas India just bulldozed all the teams.
