WRC Rally Evolved (PS2) | Game Review

The last good season of rally with staggering 6 manufacturers, and probably the jam packed rally game by Evolution Studio that actually gave Colin McRae 2005 run for its money!

I loved all the ps2 series’s of WRC with my favorites being wrc4 and Wrc 2 extreme.

I loved this game back in the day. The handling was a much more realistic evolution of that from WRC4, and for that reason alone, I rated it higher. The lack of stage mileage was a real drawback, but like this review, I could somewhat overlook that because the handling had improved so much. It was not until DiRT Rally that I felt a rally game got it right enough to draw me back in.

I think in WRC 4 there were not much diferences in cars like there. Also on stages in Evolved you can feel tarmac , ice or broken Lancer in way. :) Really good game and i think ii can´t feel this until WRC 5 on PC.

Even the Co-Driver was so good!!!
I need to say, this deserves a top spot in my perspective.

OMG Pegeot 206, Impreza STi and Pegeot 205, Lancia Delta S4... It was great game . Without asist, from first person a catching Seb Leb. For me that , Fifa 06, Destroy all humans and GTA SA was simlpy good gold standart of PS2. of 2005 .Great memories with sound of Subaru boxer. 😁

Also to drive without aids the secret is to not have a gap between braking and accelerating.The car always must have some revs as well so heel and toe /trail braking is essentiall.
