    Since the first days of following your channel I've been wanting to do some star trails since we're in a Bortle 9 area. Trouble is, I need to be awake haha! And until Covid fatigue goes there'll be no chance! And I need to choose a low US AQI night which is rare in winter. But your video keeps my hope alight!!! Blessings!

    I am so far loving the Iphone 14 pro
    I downloaded a app that is amazing for astrophotography even better than google pixel
    Its astroshader
    It stacks and takes images at the same time!

    Thank you for this video mate. I tried using this App twice in December with my iPhone 12 Pro Max but I didn’t use it properly. The first 3 hour photo came out black and the second night at 3 hours came out with that magenta sky you mentioned. I hated it and deleted them both. Since then we’ve had clouds and I’m not in that great location anymore. I’ll give this another go when I get another chance. I saved your video for future use and the next time I’ll be using my new iPhone 14 Pro 😁👍🏼

      With the new "default" settings in the app, it gives you a good starting point. It sounds like the settings were what got you the 2 bad images. Each location is a little different so you would then adjust the default if needed.

    What if I WANT to see the satellites, meteors and plane trails? Is there a setting to show them in Even Longer?

    • @mariotomiak
      @mariotomiak 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can use the light trails mode instead to keep the planes etc.

    • @ShayneMostyn
      @ShayneMostyn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is, but its a more involved process. Use the intervalometer app and the light trails app. th-cam.com/users/shortsb-1mkMT8O4M
