Bro i work at SIG and agree with you 100% most of the optics absolutely suck if you know anything about quality glass. Just stick to the the tried and true optics brands that make proven optics. Hopefully we can develop some world class optics down the road that arent all named romeo lol
Not sure where or what you do with them but there enough & still on fence but might get a membership to range as I need to get more range time in. Though I try to blend in I do sort of stand out(even though I can't stand lol) As a company I personally can't speak more highly of as they have been very accommodating & not bs as I have many friends that also work there at all levels(only have had one minor issue & really not w/ Sig it was there contracted security & wasn't the guy working, it was his rentacop boss watching cameras remotely). Because of my situation they been super helpful though they still do stupid crap like the axg grip mod recently came out for $800 like wtf that's stupid. personally I think they should go back to what there known for quality guns & leave accessories to others or have a few but honestly like when I heard about them having a light line I wasn't interested as I have used Streamlight & SF for many yrs & have trust in them. But like when 1st legion came out I was like I bet every model will have a legion tier bam now it's like axg(I actually thinking about going back to 229/226 for comp & steel frame felt great but div I shoot can't use a comp also not spending $2300) yet it's next to impossible to get the caliber they created 357sig like my original duty weapon was a p226 which I still own & have both barrels(at time most Leo's carried 40's) unfortunately I had an accident at work & regrettably sold my 229 & was like I can get another one & hard to get a optic cut & rail version in 40, 9 no issue there was only a small run of the 229 Legion in 40 with optic cut. But no company is perfect & all make decisions that from consumer levels looks stupid though I would like to see the exc level. but they hire smart people or employee smart people for a reason like 10+yrs ago there is a reason they hired a former Kimber Employee or like they have methods to their ways like you can apply for certain jobs but some depts have done their homework & like military in a way they choose who they think will be best & they usually do well. Though I don't get into politics but for most part most people that work there are content and enjoy what they do & though not recent but like I know someone that started entry level pos & comp provided classes and made various moves and they have a great job. Which if still done is good as not everyone has skillsets required
I have to agree. The original Sig MSR was junky as all hell. I could see the emitter clearly and it was distracting. The dot itself sucked and was not crisp. Oh and the brightness setting knob, it took so much force to turn it, you feel like you would break it each time you adjusted it.
Sig has been trash, the 226 is the last thing they did right. In the beginning Holosun was making their optics for them, then they werent bad actually, once they started assembling their own, complete trash
Complete trash?!? I am not an Sig fan, but I wouldn’t say complete trash. I just don’t like the fact that Sig uses their customers as ginny pigs for their first gen of products. Then they go making the fixes without saying anything to anybody. That’s shady!! Once they get it right, it works great. But we all know what they are doing behind closed doors.
I HATE Sig so much man so much! But still I love the P365 I got my wife and the Romeo 4xt pro is great, as well as the virtus. I dont own the virtus or the optics. They do make some good stuff. But I HATE Sig!
I am absolutely no Sig fanboy, in fact, outside of the P226, I think their pistols are garbage, the one rifle I had from Sig didn’t function, BUT, the MSR was cheap, I got 3 of them for $70 a piece, 2 of 3 reside on rimfire rifles I use in competition, they have been working for 2+ years in that role, they are not Trijicon bright, but I’ve shot in full sun summer days and had no issues picking up the dot. I personally don’t care about the naming scheme, if you see a cheap optic, expect it to be cheap. I was expecting more based on the title than ripping Chineseum low end inexpensive optics.
Why get the MSR when the Romeo5 exists for only $20 more? MSR lines are Sigs budget line. Have you read what Holosuns names are for their optics? 403B, 403R, 503B, HE503CU, 507k, 407C... you act like that makes sense.
Yeah the msr I bought on a crazy deal. With holosuns though everything means something. The higher the number the notes upgraded the model. Then the letter after the number indicates size typically.
I really wanted to like my 4t pro… but when it came with only 3 screws on the mount installed, and the reticle was significantly canted, I had to return it to primary arms and get an Eotech instead
Lmao, I'm dying over here bro. 2 out of 5 of my Romeozeros have died within two years (sent one back to Sig, they sent it back saying it worked....it didn't smdh). Slowly replaced by Swampfox optics but I do love my sig 7s and 5 (1st gen) for my rifles.
All my Holosuns are still truckin' 5 years later. It's a great time for affordable optics.l in general. But I can't really see a lot of reasons for going Sig.
When I was looking for a rmrc yrs ago besides reviews but the plastic/poly housing was a big thing I didn't like. There wasn't many options at time & I took a leap of faith on brand never heard of SwampFox & own a bunch of their optics now and warranty which I used once was great only had two issue & though it made me mad end of day they made it right (lost a screw & they wanted stupid $ for a single screw like u sent me 10+ I didn't need how about I trade them back w/ RMR u get a bunch of them) the second issue & more of a personal thing is battery on the bottom of some. Not knocking HS as I have a few but a buddy had the 507 Comp & of the 15 shots I liked it and bought one but won't lie I have more time with my SF even after 500rds with HS Comp & unofficial match I went back to using my SF for competition though have it on something else & works great. Also there are a lot of agencies that used to issue more expensive ones which now issue HS. I been fortunate enough to use many brands over the yrs & like guns or anything when someone has multiple items one may have flaws or be junk also not saying that this happened here or the case but have seen it with most companies is the clones or fakes & they are getting better at making them hard to tell. like few months ago was looking at the used section and rifle had a eotech clone which was a really good fake, those can hurt brand as well & know there are Sig clones out there

Pretty much everything from Sig USA in the past 20+ years is hot garbage compared to what could be expected from their European entities in the before times. It's hard to beat German and Swiss engineering, manufacturing, and quality control.

I refuse to buy anything SIG until they make the fucking barrels, or even just an extension available.
I think as an optic company they're ok (their super expensive stuff is stupid and their pistol optics are trash) but their guns are outright horrible. I can maybe respect some swiss sig but the rest is absolute garbage.
Maybe I'm old-fashioned but its aimpoint or nothing for me. I've had holosun malfunction on me, and I never bought sig optics because of the billboard logo.
I have the P365 AXG Legion and it’s been 100…ran it through a course in 90 degree NC heat and humidity and it was flawless through 350 rounds….its been 100 and a great gun
i can barely believe anyone would give sig money period. Their guns are garbage and their sights are worse, yet the sig cult denies any wrongdoing. its amazing how fangirls will enable are awful company to stick around. The world would be better if sig went out of business. Their pistols are known to blow up, its normal and commin and comp shooters just laugh it off as it happens constantly. That's just one of MANY issues that are common and unacceptable.
I got an MSR Gen 1 with my AR as part of a bundle deal. I took it to the range, and it seemed ok, but I still quickly ordered a Holosun HS503CU. I do have the Romeo 5, and it's pretty good. I plan on getting the Holosun 510C soon. I was shocked they made an MSR Gen 2, honestly. I'll use my Gen 1 on a 22 lr or something to go plinking with down the road. But for now, I'll go with the other selections that I have.
the Romeo 8t is a top tier optic, I would put on par with an Eotech, although I don't have as much time as I do with the Sig then I do eotech but so far rock solid. Tango MSR is also a good budget LPVO I have a 1-8. I want to try a Romeo 4 soon. With that being said you should not be buying any dots under 4t they are horrid, Holosun is better for the price

i can barely believe anyone would give sig money period.
@@jbcustom3745 I have the Holosun too wanted to compare them
Romeo 5 Only. xD
Made in China?
Sig is making a bunch of money! If you don’t like it don’t buy it.
Already ahead of you.
