- This is my 2024 AR-15 Tier List, designed to show of the different AR-15 brands where I think they rank as far as my likelihood to spend money on them in their respective price brackets. Find out which ones came out the best and which ones are considered the worst. These are my opinions; I am not sponsored in any way.
Feel free to make your own video and tier list: tiermaker.com/...

Always been a fan of your content. Thank you but, I have no idea what you are referring to regarding Black Friday and jumping the line. Could you please explain it to me so I can look into it? I’ll share what I know here.
Yeah no worries, so I saw on the Black Friday sale that buying a gun during the deal offered a “priority que”
@ That is absolutely not true. We are first come, first served. The “priority” notification was for people who purchased our products prior Black Friday, as it should be. We take our customers’ patience serious and have not offered priority to anyone for money.
The email that went out on 11/8 had this statement “Get in early and enjoy a shortened lead time of 4-6 months.” Which made it sound like if I ordered right before the sale that I was on the old lead time of 12 months. Maybe, I misinterpreted that but just to clarify, what would my lead time be on 10/30 vs the 11/8 promo?
@@randyreviewsit Our lead time has never been 12 months. It was 6-8 months for this entire year through mid September and then dropped to 4-6 months. The point of that email was to give people a heads up that our lead times increase during Black Friday because of the influx of orders. Our Black Friday sale didn’t start until 11/11. If you ordered on 10/30 your lead time was 4-6 months from your order date. If you ordered on 11/8 it was the same. The lead time increased on 11/11 when the sale started. We build based on order date only, not payment method or anything else.
@ roger that, will pin the comment for further clarification.
LOL!! You have WC, DD, Noveske, FN and Larue at C tier, and even have Anderson in with this group. Nothing wrong with Anderson, but they aren't at the level of these others. And HK in D tier?? This list tells me you know very little about the AR world.
I recorded the scoring explanation twice, dude if you can’t understand after 2 explanations you are un-helpable
It's also about best value for money. Not best gun.
HK MR223 was the most boring, heavy and overgassed AR I ever shot. It's ugly, uses unpopular threading, doesn't have an adjustable gas block (at least out of the factory), uses HKEY handguards which is ugly, no one wants it and it's so fat you can't get a good grip on it. The grip and stock are garbage. It has ambi lower but they forgot to include ambi charging handle (joke). Rifle is overgassed, with supressor it's terrible to shoot. Their VP9 Match was the only pistol I ever owned which jammed like crazy and had to be returned. The amount of issues with VP9 I read online is mind blowing. MR556A1 and A4 are probably the most overpriced guns to ever exist, not even a CL barrel at this price is an insult. Not to mention they don't give a shit about customers, I saw RMA horror stories online where people had to wait for a repair for months. I'm saying this as a EU resident where these guns are much cheaper and higher quality than US versions and B tier is the highest I would put them. In the US it's well deserved C/D tier.
This is a value, as in utility vs price tier list. For that it’s mostly completely fair. 4K for an HK when blackout defense ,Geissele , LMT, exist is a complete joke. It’s a great fun but not worth the money.
100%
Any list that has Anderson over Aero Precision, KAC, HK, Colt, or F1/Watchtower is utterly hysterical!
Anyone that doesn’t listen to the scoring portion and complains about the scoring is a communist
Well i can’t fix stupid either. It is clear he didn’t watch the scoring portion and then made a dumb comment because of his uninformed opinion
@@randyreviewsit Of course I didn't watch it, I couldn't be bothered to watch more than 2 minutes of your drivel!
@KevinHuff23 make your own then moron
Normally I would agree seeing as how I have a complete Aero M4E1, however seeing Aero now trying to charge almost $2,000 for pretty much the same rifle is Ludacris. Also Anderson makes a fantastic Rifle for the $400-$500 mark. The difference is value makes sense
PSA has gotten better..
What is your top choice for the different price brackets?
$0 - $1000 =BCM
$1000 - $2000 =Geissele
$3000+ =Vseven
Also what would you recommend for around $400?
Type A should be A tier, and knights should be moved to B tier. I don’t believe Nights cares much about the civilian market.
Yes but if they don’t care about the civilian market that means you shouldn’t buy it if you are a civilian but from what I’ve seen it is very similar to what they sell to militaries around the world.
@@cognition26 KAC is just an AR bro. This is all 80 year old technology. Not worth it lol
Bro saying KAC is not A tier is insane. They’ve been the goat for years. Just because they’re too expensive(not the best value) and they’re hard to find doesn’t take away from the fact they are what they are. A lot of people that say this are just people that have never even shot a KAC but are just pissed because they don’t/can’t have one. Yeah it sucks they don’t really care about civilians but that has nothing to do with the quality and performance of a rifle. It’s cope.
My buddy has type A and they are top notch
@@alexwaggoner4372 KAC shoot just like any other well tuned AR. It's not rocket science.
Good tier list. Much more refined and reasonable than last year’s list. There are so many companies making AR right now that even this extensive list is still missing a couple of companies. What a time to be an AR enthusiast! I guess I am sucker for just brought a blem barreled upper from Aero. But the price is so good I just wanted to try it out. Thank you for the video.
Yeah there are a lot more to add for sure, and glad you appreciate the changes from last year. It’s a good time for ar people
@@randyreviewsit curious to how Anderson went from bottom of the barrel to top of the C class?
@ because the frontline series is legit, and a solid contender for the under $1000 bracket
This is another good one! Thank you, Randy! I ordered a Q Sugar Weasel 16" last year based on your 2023 Review. I ordered a Geissele 16” Super Duty during their BLACK FRIDAY SALE, which was a significant price reduction, based on your 2024 Review. Thank you again for the research you're doing for your viewers.
I own 2 geissele super duties but I paid full price because I am always broke when they have a sale. This year I had money saved up to buy one for black Friday then my transmission took a shit on.me😢
I have a sugar Wiesel and yes my 1 gas block screw fell out. Q did take care of it and sent me screws 2 day air. Other than that the gun shoots amazing. Been running it in 2 gun Comps for the last year.
Picked up a super 11.5 super duty up on the Black Friday sale. Super pumped on that.
Yeah I was hearing a lot about the screws coming loose glad it’s running well though!
Your lack of consideration for build material is a big flaw in your scoring
Like what? Aluminum?
@kodiak7964 yes and barrel, bolt and carrier
Yo! Much love from North Texas Randy. Huge thanks for another great review. Couldn't agree more with DD. Mine and many others keep having issues. There has been a thick amount of people complaining this year, especially on big YT channels. Still loving LRWCI. Not a single malfunction in any way and with an upgraded trigger and spring - the rifle is absolutely stunning. Can't recommend LWRCI enough for people who have a little extra change for quality and performance. Randy, thanks again! Looking forward to shooting around with your A and B tier!
Thats good to hear I just bought my LWRCI👍
Caracal seems unique to me that they have a brand new USA facility and make every part in house. Internal and external p 0:02 iston guns just like LMT. THANKS FOR THE EFFORT.
First off cool video, and you earned a sub... def have not heard of a few of the companies so thank you for introducing me...
I was happy that my piston LWRC was in a solid B, I am a big piston gun fan myself and love my AUGs and Brens and B&Ts ...
Definite props to SOLGW, they have been killing it and making great DI stuff...
I think S&W should be at least C, they are at least trying with the newer sports and volunteers ... and I agree totally that old German/Swiss Sig is goated ... but new last 15 years american sig is some ass !
Your take on the spikes tactical guys is what made me a devout viewer.
Thank you for your content😂
lol the universe is weird.
i‘m relatively new to the topic and have watched your first tier list video, then the one from focus tripp and here it comes your 2nd one, like ordered ^^
it‘s a shame that we dont a get a lot of intersting brands here in europe, let alone the waiting time for something like a bcm recce (10 months, and 2900 euros btw… plus the european AR brands have gone mad price wise too. every other gun smith brings out a C tier AR and wants 3K EUR for it and brands like HK and Haenel charge up because contracts.
Kind of like over there in the US ;p
I think I‘ll go for something like an Anderson and will slap a DD BCG in it and will also upgrade the hanguard (Aero Atlas), the stock, pistol grip, trigger, front grip and an ambi safety - this rifle will cost me 2300 EUR (…just for the comparison between all mentioned above…)
gonna leave a sub here.
@@lolbruah yeah I have no idea what the Europe market gets and doesn’t. Sometimes I see the new Europe stuff that tfb shows and it looks cool but is a lot longer to get here. Would love to see a Europe based one and prices
@ I think there are 1-3 importers for most of the us brands (at least here in Austria). Brownells is one of them, but even with them it‘s „take whats in the warehouse - wanna pre-order? 8-10 months“ ;)
Good thing that I‘ve got an AUG and several other guns to shoot until my AR plan finalizes ;)
Any particular reason why you are preferring DI over Piston Ar’s these days? What’s your take on suppression builds with DI and Pistons?
The suppression is actually what made me lean more. I think as long as the barrel is 11.5 or more and decent you can tune di guns to run great. Where the gun is reliable, no gas in the face, and it shoots soft. So far with pistons I think they bleed too much off where I usually end up with carbon all over my hand, they weigh more, and the pistons are too proprietary. I also think di’s are only going to get better and better.
Great video. Definitely want to try Griffin and Sionics.
Any recommendations on a .308?
I am a little out of that loop but I think solgw makes a large frame ar now
Db10 probably best for the money if you dont want to spenta fortune
LMT Defender H
Rock River Arms LAR-8
Take a look at POF’s 308’s their ambi controls are second to none and there 308’s are the lightest around.
Yes dude! Cant wait! Really enjoy your content man. I watched the first tier list and was going to pull the trigger (pun intended) on a some of your recommendations. But after hearing about the new updated list, figured id wait. Keep doin what you do man!
Thanks man, hope you like it.
Thank you for this list. I’m looking to get an AR. I don’t know much about any one company in particular. So, it’s nice to see your breakdown of the brands. I’m sure there is room to negotiate on the tier list depending on what you’re looking to get, but you have them ranked relative to each other which gives me a solid idea of where start.
whats your take on centurion arms?
Heard good things about
Your last list was super wrong but you did a great job explaining this one’s scoring. On the whole I agree with your value tier list. I am absolutely in love with my Geissele 11.5. Need to try blackout defense , I was thinking of getting a radian or Q 300blackout but if I can save 700 bucks and get something better I’m very interested.
great video! Looking for my first AR and this helps a lot. thank you much
Been waiting for this.
Thanks man!!!
I bought my LWRC after your review and it is fantastic
Nice, di or the piston?
@ DI
Dude, get yourself a Geissele. Best rifle I own.
If you catch DD uppers on sale from midway usa they can be worth it. The problem is that Geissele is better in every single way for the same price point. DD makes a robust rifle and if you’re into GWOT guns you can’t go wrong. Just too much money for what you get
Yeah I would take the g$ over dd but waiting for the right sale
Ive got just under 8k on a 13.9 Lead and Steel ARC that I got for a smoking deal pre launch. Took a gamble on an unknown with the plan on putting 10k through it. I honestly thought it would fail but it's been flawless. I liked it enough to outfit it for nvg hog, armadillo, and coyote slaying. Its not as smooth as my Super Duty and its more gassy but it's a great gun. On a side note. The vast majority of that 8k has been the AAC 77gr OTMs and ive had zero issues outside of them not liking some really, really worn out Duramags
Glad to hear it man!
Can't help but notice V Seven made your top tier again. I could not agree more. Yes, pricing is up there, but once you take a look at the whole picture they are a value compared to other platforms in their price range. Obviously the build quality is off the charts. the hand fitment, lifetime warranty stainless barrels, the finest lightweight (but robust) alloys in the industry and lastly the best customer service I have come across in the firearms world. The process feels like you are ordering a bespoke suit from high end tailor.
Yeah I will say it forever v seven is my favorite by far
Hows the recoil impulse with it being so light?@randyreviewsit
@@kevinheine1428 Hi. Our V-Seven's were ordered with their Helios linear comps (blast diffusers). We have a BCM 14.5' 556 with a Surefire Warcomp on the front end. The BCM shoots a bit flatter. But how much is the Warcomp vs Helios and how much is the lightness of the V Seven front end? So not quite apples to apples. Let's put it this way, we are selling the BCM for another V Seven upper (that they are happily fitting to one of their lowers from a past project) . That is the level of their customer service. My wife is 130 pounds and she shoots a 14.5" V Seven 300 fine. I've found that the substantial weight savings lets me think less about a few ounces here and there on LPVO's, MPVO's, lights, etc.. If you want an LPVO and/or mount that is better quality or better value than another (but weighs 6 oz's more), who cares. You will still be rocking a stellar lightweight platform.
@J.D.Grenadier glad to hear it.
If you Agree or disagree with Randy - this isht is entertaining to watch😂
What about JP Enterprises? Are they just basically for competition? Or would you consider them like any of the others ARs
I have heard really good things about them, i wouldn’t mind getting to spend some time behind one but i don’t know enough to really score them
I'm a KAC fan boy. Yes I shoot all 3 of my rifles. 14.5 mod2, 18 LPR, 16 mod2. UPPERS ONLY. Their lowers are nothing special. You're paying for the gas technology and the machining tolerance. QC problems are posted by haters or people who dont know how the gas system works. I don't disagree with D tier here. 99% of people will not pay 3000 for an upper. A tier on quality D tier on willingness to spend the money on.
Blackout Defense A tier all day. 8 month lead time is fine for the quality you get
Kac is A tier. They’ve been the goat. Overpriced but nobody can say they are not one of if not the best combat ar15’s. Put a sr-15 on a LMT mars lower. Price aside I genuinely would like to know what’s better than that.
Glad to see Wolfpack made the list. This is cool man, hopefully you can get your hands on one of our RS models and suppressors in the near future!
Yeah was good to talk to you at goals
Would you ever do an Ak tier list? I know it’s a long shot but could be a funny video
Maybe, but it’s hard right now with all the limits on things. I would say occam defense probably makes the ak I would buy if money was not an option
I have a ADAC lower and I now have 2 Griffin MK2 lowers and they are 100% smoother and function way better than my Radian.
And a lot less money. And I also have been switching to their 55 degree safety. Way better than Radian IMO.
Great video
Yeah man, you absolutely killed it with this tier list I appreciate you calling out dd on QC issues lately also shout out to mike and everbody over at SOLGW me and my wife love our 14.5 w /L89 rail chf like you said, the customer service was outstanding 3k later 0 issues great purchase just subbed! Keep up the good work 👏
Looking forward to watching this later after I lose money betting on football.. lol. Maybe I win but this video is a win either way.
Some of the placements are very interesting. For example, HK would be higher on the list i I create. Also, I've had Aero upper and lower that never had a problem and has excellent precision. Probably a B or at least C tier for me.
What's the best of the best - like save up to obtain this someday level gun?
Vseven
@@randyreviewsit Sorry I should have finished the video before that's the exact thing you answered in the video. lol Thanks!
Everyone is sleeping on Faxon ARs. Their quality is superb.
Thanks for this. Learned a lot
I have 5 Sionics rifles. Their 5R chrome lined barrels are awesome. They are all standard gas ports. They are really accurate barrels. For such a small company to service over 400 police departments and citizen sales is pretty amazing.
I would put Colt higher on the list. The 6920 Troopers and 6960's are a value for around 1k. And can be had even cheaper. 80% of your police cruisers have a 6920 in it. And there's no AR rifles on the planet that are more vetted.
The BCM Mk2 stuff makes them A tier for me. Probably the best redesign of the M4 upper. And they aren't super expensive.
Sons of liberty gunworks...They put together a nice package. But they use a parts supply that's not theirs. Those M89 rails are Icon defense. Who was formerly Mega. All the FCD stuff. The A5 reciever extensions are BCM. Etc...
Nice job! Have you ever heard of SLR Rifleworks? Grabbed an upper and handguard from them. Im empressed.
You earned a subscription from me today. Keep up the good work!
Yeah slr does good stuff, I got a handguard from them a while back for an AK
You do a great job with your rankings, however i think a listing of the best ar-15s within a price point, best under a thousand, best under two thousand, this would be awesome
That’s not a bad idea…
I'm so glad to see you put IWI in top-tier. It's my favorite AR rifle. I've got a pair of them sitting in the safe downstairs. Me, personally, I'd rather buy two Zion-15's than spend the same money on a Daniel Defense.
I would actually agree with the two zions over the Daniel
IWI and BCM absolutely own the 800-1200 dollar tier and for good reason
@@CiviTacWhere do you get a BCM at $1200?
You can get full uppers from less than 800 and full lowers are like 375
I wouldn’t put anything with a nitride barrel in top tier.
Nitride immediately tells me it’s a hobby grade cost cutting rifle like a PSA “Daily Deal” or Aero or any of the other range toys masquerading as real rifles.
As usual, Griffin Armament and Wolfpack Armory are going completely HAM when it comes to value for money. Great Tier list Homie, See you on the next video!
Griffin does go pretty hard, I have a blem mk2 lower that is for a brn 180 300 blackout with a jmac folding brace and a md25 acss with a reptilia mount.
The owner of Wolfpack Armory is a douche bag, so there's that
Facts
Like i said in the chat , waited 10 months for a Blackout Defence, and not impressed so far, hope its the shooter, but my Tippman , H&R XM177E2, and my Springfield Armory m1 Tanker, able to put on paper with irons at 50 and 100 yards, and havent been able to get Blackout defence to hit anything, irons, red dot or scopes . Like I said I hope its the shooter,
Wow that is rough to here, yeah I if you have any bad groupings or anything I would hit them up because mine is very accurate and I love it, just not a fan of the weight
Mine is the most accurate I've ever shot.
Loved last years video, sure I will love this years too. If you could list the brands by name and not just logo, as some are ledgible but some are not. Keep up the great content.
@@scott2582 will try to get them in a more legible format
Definitely helped me coping as a Geissele street price buyer 😂
Yeah the sales prices are wild
Well that settles it. Time for a V7 build. 😂
Yeah I am going to build a lower from them for sure this year and maybe an upper or two
Holy cow I just took a look at munition works and you're probably right if they tune the rifle correctly before they send it out then for the money they are the best on this list. One thing though, I think you're not judging PSA fair enough. For 900 dollars you can get a rifle with a radian raptor charging handle, radian talon safety, magpul grip, magpul stock, hiperfire trigger(literally in top 3 trigger competition trigger manufacturers), and a forged aluminum handguard. You can get a PSA sabre swap out the barrel and maybe the BCG and it will still be a steal.
PSA’s qc is sketchy though. Too much volume for good qc
Blackout Defense, Griffin, V seven?
Looking for a top tier buy once cry once AR. Want the very best as long as it is extremely reliable and will run even with hard use. Any recommendation?
If you can afford the v seven I would go with that otherwise I would go griffin, sionics, or munitionworks
Curious why you didn’t say Blackout? I thought you were a big fan? is it weight or price or something else?
@tenbo9128 yeah weights, wouldn’t want to lug it around and 6 month wait time right now.
I run a spikes lower and for me it works..
My og has a spikes lower with a serial about 700. Always love them. Dedicated 9m colt is great too
i do love my LMTs but man have they had some QC issues in last couple years…..sad. if they put alot more into a good QC dept theyd have the best rifles
4th of july Geissele blem sale the MOD1 super duty was $999 or $1260 for a full DDC Black friday Sale was non blem $1417 OTD (shipping + tax) for my Super duty mod 1. Amazing gun for that price tag
Wait i just ordered a blackout defense and i wasnt given the option to jump the que how was that offered ?
I think if you ordered for their Black Friday deal you got it
@ i definitely ordered the blackout defense friday deal because that 500 off was to good to pass up but i called and they informed me it was an 8 month window , They said they had like 600 rifles in que !!
They didn’t offer me to jump the que either & I placed my order during BFS too.
We need Andro Corp on the list! they make good stuff.
for real
This is a great list. I wonder what your list would look like if you arranged by quality agnostic of the price. I have an LWRC IC-DI and absolutely love it. Came with the M-lok hand guard so no proprietary attachments. Only thing I would change (and it's very minor) is that they have a taped screw holding the dust cover instead of the spring loaded ones. Very accurate ambi platform. Was thinking of putting a piston upper on, but as I watched your video, I thought "why do I need a piston, exactly? " lol
I just usually piece mine together at home.
You didn’t mention the POF DI, or their 308 in a Ar15 chassis with same BCG, plus forged billet upper and lowers, features, 9 position Dictator gas block, they are Definitely A+++ tier especially for the money.
My STAG arms is awsome too.
So.. I shoot a lot. I’m kinda lazy too. So one of my “tests” is how often I have to clean my suppressed rifles. I have not cleaned my Noveske (300 blk) 9.75 in 1k rounds. It looks good so a couple drops of oil and I’m good. My Radian(5.56) 10.5 same. My CMMG 220 res in is a mess. The Veske and the Radian have been 100 reliable and the radian stupid accurate at ranges I can’t beat. I am interested in some of the same rifles you are in the Blackout and the Guislele( not Tom Brady’s ex wife, I can’t afford that) . For those that obsessively clean their guns they dont done care but for a shooter like me that would rather shoot that sh1t matters
Son of liberty is bad ass they definitely deserves A spot I got my hands on there tomahawk edition its a sweet rifle
@randy Where is B&T on this list- they are commanding a pretty steep price. What’s your thought on their ARs and their offerings in 223?
Haven’t tried their 223 stuff but I wasn’t impressed with their 9mm pdw stuff. Tried it at iv8888 2 years ago and was expecting a lot more and left disappointed in b&t
How about Andro? They can be grabbed for $400 and apparently have a good track record.
Yeah been looking into them, hoping I get to try one
DF has no idea what he's talking about.
Leaving this on play before going out to send you that sweet sweet TH-cam money
I’d rather a tier list based on real criteria like durability, weight, accuracy, innovation, quality, etc….. Not whether or not you’d personally buy the firearm. 🤦🏽♂️
All of those are factored in whether I would buy it or not….
@ Great video. I was just mad because you ranked my PWS low. LOL. Would love to hear you do a deeper dive on why you don’t like piston AR’s. Just discovered them and I love em.
@brotherafrika I used to buy into the reliability/what about sand stuff but I have run some DI guns a while now and haven’t had any issues. DI is lighter, with more parts compatibility
@@randyreviewsit which of the two do you shoot better with?
Urgi is the best out of box upper 🔥
no.
I have an Aero Precision M4E1 with an atlas r one hand guard and it’s great, however I also recently went to their website and was caught off guard they were charging $1,900 for the same rifle. I was like wtf could they have possibly done to justify DD prices??
Yeah it’s wild to me that they thought no one would care or notice
I paid 1500 for my SR Ruger piston gun , and ran 20,000 rounds with no jams. 4 gas settings and cheaper then 416 HK..
What Tier would you put APOD Group? Thank You
Dude, what are you talking about? I own several radians and several blackout defense guns and my radian is just as good if not better than one of my defense guns what are you talking about? It might not be high on your list but don’t downgrade the best.
It's heartwarming to see somebody who has no real knowledge about anything be so sure of themselves and trying to make it in this world.
Waiting to see your tier list… let me guess you have 3k through your psa
Aero is definitely b tier. That's a terrible grade. I have bought uppers and lowers from damn near every company out there and aero is the only company that makes consistently high quality receivers.
Ben Stoeger has broke more aero bolts than hearts
Would like to hear your thoughts about Delton.
You should do a ranking video every year. Maybe do one on pistols.
@@exmx I did one and no one watched it but might try the new s being with them
Curious about Andro Corp. They seem to use receiver set manufactured by A.O. Precision and they source thier barrels fro Ballistic Advantage. They seem kinda no frills at a reasonable price.
I like this list a lot better than the 2023 list. LWRC should be A tier though (even for direct impingement - mine are awesome). Daneil Defense should be at least B tier (mine are super accurate, sub-moa). My PSAs with FN CHF barrels all shoot sub-moa - very happy with my PSAs even though everyone online seems to rate them low. I agree with you on piston guns, I'm moving away from them also. I think they're over-rated. I do have a piston LWRC which is awesome but not as accurate as my di LWRC and DD.
LWRC has VERY reasonably priced DI .556 rifles. Best high end ARs for the price IMO. Their piston ARs are top tier.
i like the way he thinks. i could easily buy this guy a beer and talk guns any day. 1005 makes perfect sence to me.
Watched part 1 and loved it
Better than most lists
Thanks man
My LWRC has done it all for me.. only thing different was a GEISSELE trigger instead of the original. With a WARCOMP and my BT ROTEX can.. this AR I can go to war with an feel like I am well armed. PEW PEW PEW 🔫🔫🔫 🥳🫡💖
Your scoring seems to have ruffled some feathers.
Your perfect rating just earned you a subscribe. I completely agree
I listened and heard you mention Wolfpack, I made a factory tour video where i went and spent a day with them since they’re from the great state of West “By God” Virginia, like me!

Yeah they were at goals, seem like good people running a good company making good products
Anyone got any experience with rise armament rifles?
Nah have only heard of their triggers
Lowers aside, Spikes makes quality stuff. Fortunately for me these “Tier lists” play no part in my decision when putting together a quality build.
If you can, check out Hera Arms and rate them. Also, Grand Power...
I know I hate Hera arms furniture lol
The acting barrels at PSA are the same they just try to differentiate them from the barrels that they sell separately to make it seem like you're getting them value you need to really catch up on sales tactics so that way you don't get tricks so often
I have got to get to a range and rent some of these “high tier” rifles to see what the real difference is.
Have you ever had a watchtower AR? I can’t find anything on them but they are not cheap
Aero is crazy for that..
this is the best tier list video I have ever seen
Thank you, I appreciate it
Bro said he enjoys shooting suppressed and proceeds to put Q in C tier, you’re a walking contradiction 😆
Yeah because no one else makes guns for suppressed use…
@1/5 twist ratio, nuff said
@zacisaloser7197 yeah I keep hearing about how those suppressed bcm’s are completely inaccurate… oh wait.
@ as you just ragged on bcm for not having a good setup for shooting suppressed 😆
@zacisaloser7197 yeah but people still do it and no one has issues with the 1/7, I could name 20 more companies, bcm is just easy to type when I am discussing common sense with uncommon morons
Have around 2,500 rounds on my di Lwrc without any failures, had some trigger fails but not the gun it’s been great, use it as my deer rifle lol
Im gonna be pretty upset if i dont see fcd, and centurion on this list, but honestly the less people that know about centurion the better for me at the moment while im saving
Also, f1 is no more, they are called watchtower something now.
You need to take a closer look at aero's pro line.
I like fcd and centurion so far not sure why I forgot centurion
@randyreviewsit You make a video explaining their chrome sandcutter bcg and e4 tapered barrel extensions.
Which AR15 Manufacturers have you owned and tested?
My 2023 tier list shows that
Cox Arms’ Combat BCG is definitely among the best in the industry. If I had to choose between Lead and Steel’s ARC BCG, Geissele’s REBCG, a KAK K-Specdown vent full chrome BCG, a Centurion full chrome sand-cutter BCG, a FCD SBCG, and a Cox Arms Combat BCG, that would be a genuinely difficult decision for me. The only BCG’s that I rank above the ones I already listed are the LMT EBCG and the Icon Defemse Integral Gas Key BCG. You’re sleeping on Icon, btw. Everyone is, really.. Their breakout is going to take place the day after LMT’s patent on the monolithic uppers expires.. Icon is about to change the game… It’s the Mega Arms of old resurrected!!
Yeah I am looking forward to what icon has coming
Randy, you have to watch a video on the Cox Arms Combat BCG.. I don’t see anything even remotely compelling or from them in terms of their line up of complete guns. Totally unremarkable, run of the mill, budget tier dog shit cerakoted to look appealing to those who don’t know any better. But that Combat BCG is absolutely one of the very best available. They don’t have sand cuts, dual ejectors, modified cam paths, integral gas keys, or a system to divert gas downward into your mag well. The reason I say that it’s truly one of the best on the market comes down to the attention that they pay to the internal dimensions of the 3-bore, the quality of the surface finish applied to the underlying substrate of the entire carrier (both internally & externally) prior to coating, and finally the types and quality of coatings that are then applied after micro polishing. All the little details are there as well. The gas keys are all hand lapped and trued to a tolerance of +/- .00015” (that’s 1.5 ten thousandths of an inch of tolerance), then Permatex aviation gasket maker is applied to the surface where the key mates with the carrier (per TDP), and then the keys are secured with OCKS fasteners which are then Rocksetted and torqued to 58 in/lbs. The BCG’s are also fitted with Springco extra power 5 coil extractor and Springco ejector springs, which are manufactured with heat treated and stress relieved chrome silicon wire stock that is impregnated with molybdenum disulfide and then cryogenically processed post winding which give the springs a significantly longer service life when compared to every other spring on the market. Springco gas rings are also used. Just check out the BCG man. They will probably send you one for free as they are new(er) players in the AR market.
Been waiting on this one since the last one 💪🏼 and yes to Sionics! The guy who was their head armorer the late Will Larson, apprenticed Mike, the owner of Sons of liberty, so same philosophy and QC, with Sionics edging it out with their pricing and the fact that they X-ray their barrels. Their NP3 coated BCG’s and buffer assembly are top tier too.
Yeah been watching them a bit, love what they offer.
Big fan of PWS and their dwell time. To each their own. Godspeed.
