    I just picked up the 2022 Burgman 200, it rides like a Cadillac compared to other scooters and motorcycles I’ve ridden. Great suspension, excellent cruiser. The CVT is the smoothest I have experienced, it feels like you’re driving a regular automobile. The new Burgman 200 is a powerful vehicle, you can absolutely ride two up after the break-in period. I can’t believe I was actually thinking about getting the ADV 150. The 2022 Burgman 200 is expensive but only $700 more than the weak ADV 150 which is grossly exaggerated and overpriced.

    • @DirtRider22a
      @DirtRider22a  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If the adv150 had the B200 power it would be one of the greatest ever built I think. But they missed that opportunity at 150cc

    • @sneat2028
      @sneat2028 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@DirtRider22a Yeah, I don’t understand why Honda didn’t at least use the same displacement as the new 2021 Honda PCX which has 157cc. The ADV is 149cc. I agree, a bigger displacement in the ADV would have been a smart move, but it will also put the ADV out of a lot of folks price range in the states.

    • @embededfabrication4482
      @embededfabrication4482 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      but can you go offroad with the burgman? I'm undecided about the ADV150 too, it only does 65mph , burgman is looking like much better option

    • @sneat2028
      @sneat2028 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@embededfabrication4482 I'm not into off-road, I bought the Burgman for cruising/commute. If you're primarily interested in off-road the Burgman may not be for you. As for the ADV 150, I have come across one person who has one, he doesn't really like it. He's lucky if he gets up to 57 mph. You have to consider rider weight and other factors. He also said forget about riding two up on the ADV 150.

    Woot!! Welcome to the Burgman family!
    LOOOOOVE my old used Burg400!!!
    The Burgman 200 is an awesome commuter machine. Plenty of power for 90% of the roads and killer MPG's! My 400 so far is averaging 55ish MPG. But I run it pretty hard and mostly 2-up riding as well 😆
    Good vid dude.

      I owned a rebel 500, it was a nice little bike. Just depends on what your wanting it for. The scooter is a much better commuter because of all the storage but a rebel would be more fun in my opinion

    How is the burgman suspension? I have a Yamaha zuma and its a rough ride . You feel every crack in the road and it adds up over time until you just about can’t take it anymore. I was wondering if its the same on most scooters or some are better

    • @DirtRider22a
      @DirtRider22a  ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel that the ride is as smooth as any of my other bikes, I’ve had a zuma 50 before and on those little bikes there isn’t enough travel to really have a plush ride in my opinion. Similar to a Harley sportster for example, the rear suspension only has 2 inches or so of travel so it’s hard to expect too much from it. But I don’t find the suspension on the Burgman to be harsh

    Hey was up bro. Having a hell of a time finding anything on TH-cam about the the factory top case bracket on the back. How hard does it look to install your self ? I saw when you picked up the seat it was connected via four screws.. is there another mounting point ? Are all the mounting points using the already utilized holes that where used for the fenders ? Thanks.

    I saw your videos and decided the Burgman 200 is what I need . Had a Honda 600 Shadow but at 79 I found it too heavy,, so sold it for a new 2022 200 Burgman. people say the break-in is super important so the owners manuel says half throttle for the first 500 miles.. What do u believe the speed is i should keep it under? Hard to judge half throttle as i drive.

    • @DirtRider22a
      @DirtRider22a  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Half throttle can be as fast as 55-60 on flat ground. I personally just break mine in by riding how I normally would. I’ve done that for countless other bikes and 1 other scooter and never had any issue. But half throttle in good conditions can easily yield 50MPH in my experience with my 200 and potentially up to 60 with a tail wind or slight downhill. Enjoy it, they are great little scooters 👍

    Thank you for this video. I need to talk to someone who knows more about the Burgamn 200 than I do. My wife and I have rode motorcycyles for years but due to some serious health issues I'm scaling down. I thought about a Burgman 400 but can't find any late models with lower mileage. So now I'm looking at the Burgman 200. As I said before, my wife rides with me. I am not a big man, I weight about 175 and my wife about 130. Will the 200 Burgman still travel well at 60 to 65mph with both of us on it, or are we too much for the little 200?
