Or rather the lack of new content for years but still releasing new units, for a gacha that's just horrible. Why release new units with nothing to use them on. And then they even stopped doing that, as soon as that happened I left the game for good. Enjoyed my time but the ones managing the game ended it, not really the powercreep imo. I will give them some credit for keeping the global server going far longer than JP though

It’s crazy how much the game had changed over the years. I would like to think that maybe if the power creep didn’t get so out of hand, or if there was consistent content updates/ collabs, or if they actually fixed the guild raids then maybe the game could’ve kept going. But I’ve been playing for long enough to know better, I mean they did take the better half of forever to actually implement raids so. Still for all it’s flaws Ive enjoyed it and am sad to see it go.
I’ll never forget the glory days when Creator Maxwell was one of if not the hardest fight in the game and arena fights only ever surprised you if your opponent didn’t have Zurg as their leader.

Did they say the reason on why they decided to close the game? The articles i kept reading didnt mention any reason.

While most companies don't tend to like to announce reasons for closing games, a big contributor to Brave Frontier's closure is most likely that it's not sustainable from a financial standpoint. Over the past few months, the game was not even making six figure numbers each month, which is extremely small for a global game that runs on a server.
