Enjoyed seeing the process at work where you questioned luminance or color? for that sky.... then how you played around with each in order to get the color you wanted.

this technique is amazing for real estate photography and all the color casts you get from dimmed lights and colors on walls from flash pops! Thank you Matt did not know you could do that with the eye droppers!

Matt! I learned all my Lightroom basics from you in what... 2008? I just saw the "range mask" in my current version and your tutorial appeared after a search. No one is better at presenting/explaining. Thanks for what you taught me over 10 years ago and again today. I owe you a beer or burger some day, at least!

Thanks for sharing this - I had no idea that this tool was even in LR. Excellent!

instead of the eye dropper for the sky you could drag an area instead and this would help pick up more sample blues in the sky resolving the issue you mention at the very end regarding patchy blues with the use of the eye dropper. Would work well for the sample photo as there is a large area of only blue sky to sample from in the image.

Thanks for the video, very good. I have a problem with my Lightroom Classic CC 7.5 (updated to process 4), don't show the range mask. There is anything between Brush (A, B, Erase) and Reset/Close Tab.

Matt, can I use this method to fix the color on faces produced by colored lighting at concerts? How do I attach the file to show you?

Never been able to get an answer to my question: I have upgraded Lr, running process V4 for my photos and I do not have this range mask option. Matt clicks on it at the bottom of the panel, and I do not have this option. It's not grayed out or anything, it's just not there. Does anyone know why or what I do about it?

But....what if the range mask won't turn on? What am I not doing, or doing wrong?? More digging, I'll be back..lol.
