  • Canine distemper is a contagious and serious viral illness with no known cure. The disease affects dogs, and certain species of wildlife, such as raccoons, wolves, foxes, and skunks. The common house pet, the ferret, is also a carrier of this virus. As canine distemper progresses, the virus does more damage to the lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Infected dogs will start to vomit, have diarrhea, and become increasingly dehydrated. The diarrhea may contain blood. Learn about how to handle canine distemper in your dog.

Can a dog with distemper also be nystagmus

I'm not sure that I understand the question, but nystagmus, which is a symptom, not a disease, can be present with distemper. Nystagmus is not always present with distemper, and may be present without distemper. Does that make sense?

@@conorjackson4434 he's good! He still experiences an epileptic seizure once in a month or two and with that I'm not really sure what to do but other than that he's well 💕
