The first measure of the dungeon theme specifically the bass (?)is part of the bridge of the title theme. At least that was the one part that stood out. Also the first time I played this game I didn't know that the black square on the starting screen was a door so I immediately went North died and then I discovered the cave

If you like the original Zelda, try Spiritual Warfare -- it's a surprisingly good zelda-like on an unlicensed NES cart. The Bible theme is great, too - you unlock the Fruits of the Spirit to bash your enemies, and when you excorcise a boss demon you recover a piece of the Armor of God.
But the thing that is so great about Spiritual Warfare is, in lieu of a series of dungeons, most of the game takes place in the overworld. So it has a much bigger map. The settings are varied and interesting, and there are nine regions if I recall correctly.
Definitely worth checking out if you like NES Zelda 1

Pols Voice? In Japan you could yell into the mic on the 2P controller and it would wipe em right out. Since they took that out for the US release they made pols voices extremely, extremely vulnerable to bow and arrow shots. Try it- shots go right through them, instant kill on any it touches. You can kill like six of them bitches with one shot 😂
Now that makes Second Quest a lot harder, of course... i mean you get the bow in level 1 in first quest and pols voice doesnt appear til level 5. Second quest? Bow is in level 5... pols voices start showing up in *Level 2*.
Better hope you remembered to go get the white sword before hitting level 2, cause otherwise you're in yikes city 😬
That second quest sounds like something. Whether I do it live or off stream, sounds like I'm in for a good time ;)
