I know that technique, diction, and legato is all very important, but if you cannot capture the heart and move the emotions; then the listener is left feeling a bit incomplete. I would rather listen to a performer with a mediocre technique who moves my heart than one with a perfect or near perfect technique. This performance has touched my heart and he has a beautiful voice as well.
So what's with the lecture Dawon? Are you saying Andrew is "better" than others? Or are you suggesting he needs some improvement? Oh, and by the way, "moves my heart" what does that mean?

Superb, but I wish the recording was a little better. To my taste, the echo in the church isn't as good as a controlled recording studio.

Very good, but the ending must be more delicate, even if you have to move the final note into falsetto.
