You’re right the child was starving and severely neglected. This lady had to be careful how she handled the situation. The child would have ran away from her and she would never have caught her. Running out of sheer terror . It’s so sad to think there are so many neglected children everywhere who are terrified to tell the truth about their abusive so called mother and their mates or vice versa. My own mom and my 3 aunts took children in for months at a time until they were placed in decent homes. They did this for years on end. I have 5 siblings but we always had children in our care and it hurt each time they found homes bc they became like our siblings. They would not let my mom adopt bc there was no father in the home. My father passed when I was 6 years old. God love my mother she had a heart of gold and we loved each and every child who stayed in our care. Hopefully this little girl ends up with the loving family she deserves for the rest of her life until she is grown and makes a wonderful life for herself once she is old enough to make her own choices. Bless the lovely lady who extended her care to help this sweet baby. ❤️

I worked at Northwestern hospital as Adm Asst to the Chairman of Psychiatry and later for Cardiothoracic Surgeons which required interacting with people of al races and having friends of all races. This reminds me of mixed race 5yr old who was hit by a car in the old apartheid SA. The police were first at the scene of the accident, when calling the ambulance, he had to mention that ' little black boy has been hit by a car' that to us who grew up in those days, mentioning 'BLACK ' was so that the ambulance could take their time coming out because the little ones life didn't matter in those days 😢😢.

Obviously he had too much to drink and yes had he been pulled over by the police he would have been charged. But he happened to be in his own home and too late to be stopped by the police. In real life that child would have been taken to the hospital to be checked out first and foremost. She then would have been put in somebodies care who was listed as a child caretaker until hopefully she would be adopted by a family on the list of families who are looking to adopt. That is the best outcome. Let’s pray to God that little darling ends up with a family who have been on the waiting list and she has a great life ahead. That’s the best we can hope for.

Obviously he had too much to drink and yes had he been pulled over by the police he would have been charged. But he happened to be in his own home and too late to be stopped by the police. In real life that child would have been taken to the hospital to be checked out first and foremost. She then would have been put in somebodies care who was listed as a child caretaker until hopefully she would be adopted by a family on the list of families who are looking to adopt. That is the best outcome. Let’s pray to God that little darling ends up with a family who have been on the waiting list and she has a great life ahead. That’s the best we can hope for.
