I am 88 and because of WW2 I was evacuated. When I started school aged 4 1/2 I found myself the only Jewish child in the school. The teacher refused to teach me or let the other children play with me. Although she didn't teach me she still expected me to read in front of all the class. TG my big sister taught me. But to this day if I hear the melody of Lavender's blue dilly, dilly, I feel sick with the shame of not being allowed a child to pat hands with. Luckily after a year we moved back to London. But it was only when I got to grammar school that I started to feel confident and safe. Scars stay forever.
Turn to Jesus, you know he was of the Jewish lineage, from king David. He told Nicodemus You must be born again to enter heaven, Talk to Him, He waits for you. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Racism needs to stop. The teacher was wrong & glad she was arrested. That was clearly a hate crime. No child r anyone should have to go through this cruelty. Absolutely. It’s unbelievable that ANYONE could treat a child (or anyone) with such contempt because of their color. God help us ALL if we can’t find the Greatness in others.
Unfortunately, it happens so often. It is heartbreaking. I'm totally blind and cannot see a person's skin color. I judge people on the content of their souls, kind of like in Beauty and the Beast. The world would be a much better place if we all looked beyond a person's outward appearance and looked a 28:08 t their interior souls.
