From a fellow rider from the South of England I'm enjoying the uncongested roads you have over there and the views are magnificent and imagining that the dirt roads were how the majority of the roads were in the U.S a hundred years ago.
Thanks for the vicarious ride-along. I enjoyed that. She sounds real sweet...just like a motorcycle should. I'm still nursing along an elderly Iron Barrel Bullet 500 "Military", and it seems pretty comparable in character and performance to yours.
You’re lucky to have 10 months of riding. I get maybe 7 and 2 or 3 of those are on the cold side. Great video and I hope RE gets back to you. They are a huge seller now.
Thanks for another awesome video. Hope RE gets back to you. Said it before Arkansas needs RE dealerships, especially in Central Arkansas. Notice all the local dealerships of Japanese brand bikes absolutely have no useful inventory, can't understand why none of them have jumped on the RE bandwagon 🙄 for it is apparent RE dealerships around the country are getting product. RE motorcycles would do well in Arkansas if they had dealership support. #royalenfield
I agree I think the bikes would sell well across the board. There are just too many good roads and trails for them not to sell well. Plus the price point would fit really well in Arkansas.
I've been following your channel ever since you purchased your Classic 350 in Desert Sand. I bought the same bike (same color) in May. I've enjoyed your videos of accessories you've added and thought I'd share the link I uploaded to TH-cam last week titled: "Jerry Can Saddle Bags on the Classic 350 in Desert Sand" Check it out! I like to watch "Ride With Warro" on his TH-cam channel! (in Australia). He has the Marsh Grey Signals Edition (really more Army drab olive green color than grey). I also subscribe to Ol'Man Rowan's channel (Southeast Ohio) who brought my attention to the Royal Enfield Meteor last year! He's a Harley guy who fell in love with the Meteor, which was the first bike using the new "J" motor and new frame system. He impressed me so much that I purchased the Meteor 350 last year! (The Meteor is a "Cruiser" style bike). Then in April, 2022, he showed up in Savanah, Georgia for the first Demo Rides of the New Classic 350's being introduced to the U.S. He Sold me again! Now he's demoing the Scram and fortunately for me, I'm out of garage space! LOL! I'm in Northeast Ohio and we are just starting into the autumn colors and will be peaking in another week or two. I will be posting a short video (or two) in the coming weeks. By the way, I've "pushed" my bike to 22 miles in the "reserve" so you could have gone another 6 miles or more with yours. I've logged 2,000 miles since May. I didn't keep records of gas usage until July 6th (after my first service), with 7 fill-ups since then. My mpg ranges from 78 to 85 mpg. I noticed your zipping down the road about 60 mph a lot where as I'm usually about 50 mph and seldom hit 5th gear. I've noticed my speedometer's "ECO" display goes off around 55 mph and above (5th bear) so keeping inside the ECO display appears to net the new Classic 350's an extra 10 mpg! Keep up the great videos and ride safe!
Nice video. I want one of those but there have been recent rumors that RE might launch a classic 650 soon so I haven’t taken the plunge yet. So which bike do you ride more often, the GT or the Classic?
If I need to get somewhere or have to be somewhere at a certain time I take the GT. If it’s just a trip to town and there is no rush or if it’s just a laid back day I take the Classic.
I recently visited a super HD/RE Dealer here in Indiana. They told me RENA's goal is to establish 3 Dealers in each state. Of course, the established dealers would have to agree to take RE on. The 'OldManRonin' YT channel host is a brand ambassador, you might send Jeff a msg. to see how he went about acquiring that. Also, like you, I love my HWK gear. Mine is in Neon yellow/black and have the pants as well. I find that the gear is highly rain proof. Air vents work well too. Take care and see you on the Forum!
Thanks for watching and thanks for the info. My HWK Gear did end up wetting out after riding in the rain but it did take it awhile to do it. Luckily I havent had to test how they hold up in a crash but I have been very happy with them.
I live east of Branson, Mo very close to the Mark Twain national forest. If you are looking for a nice dualsport area this one is pretty decent! I ride a KLX230 all over this area.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 .303 are too British. The Indian made one is factory chambered in .308(7.62 NATO).Has a 12 round box type mag and has the not so flattering title of being the last general issue service rifle with bolt action. You guys have a great gun culture there. In India the best revolver you can buy is the .32 Webley which costs like $2500(and like the Royal Enfield, Webley is gone from Britain but lives on in India 😄)
I really wish royal enfield had a dealership in Arkansas, I'm really interested in a classic 350 . The nearest dealership is ether Tulsa ok or Plano tx. It's just to far to go look at one.
There is also a dealer in Joplin MO. I bought my 350 from Tulsa and my GT650 from Joplin. If you’re near the Fort Smith area you can check mine out in person.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 Joplin wouldn't be any closer for me, I live near Mena so It might be possible. Next time I head that way I might holler at ya.

Unless she is skilled off road I would pick something else for her. The DR is great and the Classic is great but the Classic in unskilled hands on dirt is asking for trouble. I would recommend a TW200. I really want one of those for myself.
It's a 350... Likes to do under 70 mph... Great for the backroads(55 mph or so)... Ride within these limits(70 or less) an the bike will "Thank You" for your consideration..,

Glad you like them! NWA has a lot to offer road and trail wise

There used to be a classic 500 which is a torque monster
Great vistas there mate.Saw your hand gun videos too, if you can get an Ishapore 2A1 rifle, the Indian Army dispatch ensemble will be complete. 😁
Yeah the old Enfield rifles are very expensive here now. I had a couple of them about 20 years ago. The 303 is a great Whitetail deer round.

I want the classic 650 as well
waiting for exhaust swap 👍

I wonder what that bike would be like with a hybrid trials tire on it?
When its time for new tires Im putting a set of 70/30 on it to see.

What have you changed on it ?
I added the crash bars, saddle bags and a cheap eBay slip on exhaust.
Do you use the 87 gas?
Normally I don’t but this time I did because I know it won’t be in there for long. I’ll burn it up in a couple of days.
