I’m using mine tomorrow, I always use mine with my Super 84 lol the picture always looks so cool. Plus I like using my GBS Synthetic tuxedo cause it has a little tuxedo gentleman on the logo
Congrats Tyler!! 👏🏆 I've had my Jermyn Street for a few years, it definitely is firm now, but still works fine. It was more hard than my other TOBS creams even when it was new. I really like the scent. Have a good one! Steve
Jermyn Street is another citric bright barbershop scent with B&M Seville. It was informative to hydrate level of the brush according to cream or hard puck. Have a wonderful Sunday!
Great shave man. I found out really quick that creams weren’t for me. Only because I like to take longer when I shave and really enjoy it. I’m greedy like that lol. I tried Geo F Trumper but not TOBS. Figured they were very close and no need. Opinion of course. Excellent video. Can’t wait to catch more of the Heritage Razor. Btw made my first purchase of a vintage razor yesterday. 1961 Gillette Slim Adjustable. Can’t wait for that!! Have a good one man!
I prefer soaps, too. The Slim is a great razor. A bit milder than the Fatboy, but still great. I was given one that I had gunkoted by Delta Echo when they were still around.
I think that brush handle looks pretty cool. I still have my first brush that's a Van Der Hagen Badger. I picked it up at Walmart of clearance for $15.
They're great for a first brush, but man I didn't know what I was missing until I got my first good synthetic. I like the ergonomics of the handle, though.
I too have a van de hagen handle that I would like to set a new synthetic (for fun). What size was you handle hole? I think I measured mine at 23.3 mm so I too am thinking a 22 mm knot would work. Great video! I have TOBS and also live in AZ, so I can relate to the hard water issues. However, I have the same issue with disapation or airiness. But I'll credit that to my poor lathering skills for now. Congrats to Tyler ✌️😁
I never measured the hole when I pulled the original knot out. I tried a 24mm and it was too big, so I picked up the 22mm from Maggards, and it worked out well. Yeah, our plumber told us we need to invest in a water softener. Our faucets only last 2-3 years because of our water. I should probably experiment with distilled water a bit more, it's just a bit of a hassle.
@@TheShavingDisciple thanks for the prompt reply! Looking at picking up a 22mm from AP Shave Co. Yeah, I've just learned to work with the hard water and look for soaps that work well with the water.
Englaaaaaaand!!! 🏴. I’m surprised you say it average. TOBS for me at least is one of the best bang for buck creams there is. Nice shave my man hope you’re well.
I know, so many people love it. Same with Razorock. I suspect it's my hard water that kills it. For my specific situation, I just can't get lather from it that can compete with Stirling, 345, PAA CK-6, Murphy & McNeil, etc. I think I'm going to experiment with some distilled water and see if it makes any difference. I tried it long, long ago and didn't think it mattered, but looking back now I realize I didn't really know how to make good lather back then.
Nice shave, Love TOBS Jermyn St. Great scent and easy on the skin if one has irritation.
Thanks. It's a good one to have on hand. Nice scent, too.
@@TheShavingDisciple The balm is also a solid performer.

Very posh.

Agreed. It's a really nice bright scent.
I never win giveaways, this is so exciting! I’m so thankful that you do this. It’s awesome. Keep up the content! ❤️🪒💈
You can't say that anymore. You DO win giveaways, now. Thanks for the kind words and participating with comments.

Definitely a bright Barbershop.
I use the TOBS tubs, but alao have a tube of Jermyn street for travel. The tubes are also the cheapect way to try their range.
Nice shave with the TOBS soap, I'll have to try those soaps in the future. Have a nice day
Thanks, Rusty. If you like creams, TOBS makes some of the most popular creams out there. I just seem to prefer soaps.

I started my journey with TOBS. I have literally every scent. I feel bad because I stopped using it and it's just sitting lol. Great video.
Thanks. They have quite a few good scents, but with my hard water, I just can't figure out how to get lather out of it that can compete with my soaps.
I get the thickest dense lathers with TOBS creams
I know a lot of people do, but I haven't been able to myself.

@@TheShavingDisciple My first synthetic was The Green Ray, still have it. Yeah, that handle look's good and you made it work! 😁👍🏼
Great review. I have yet to try tobs
Thanks. It's one of those staples that every one should try.
Great sensitive soap choice !
I like it because it's a sensitive soap that still has some fragrance. Hope you're doing well.
@@TheShavingDisciple long road ahead of me … giving it all I got 💪🏻👊🏻

Nice shave G. I always find the UK creams work fine. The scents is where they excel I think:)
TOBS has some good scents. I haven't branched out into Trumpers or Truefit yet.
Great cream right there!!! 😎🤙🏻
It's a classic.
Imo Jermyn street and st James smell very similar
I've smelled St. James, but I don't really remember it.
