I had fun helping on this project!!!! BOOST!
Looks absolutely sick! Great job guys!!!!!!
Thanks a ton!
Great job fellas. (Jeff from TorqStorm)
Thank you!! We are loving it. Excellent quality!!! American made!!!
Awesome! What torqstorm kit and brackets for the other accessories did you guys go with for this?
You buy the kit based on you motor set up. For us it was LS and i wanted the supercharger on the driver side. Hit up Torq Storm and they can help
Great job guys! Looks great!
Thank you!! Stay tuned for the next video!!!
Thanks!!
Love it. Square bodies are the best.
Thank you!!
Agreed!
Can I get some info on the front drive set up before the TS was installed. I would like to copy that on my 86. Thanks
It came with the TS kit. New waterpump, steering pump ect
@@gasratzcustoms A/C and alt? Thanks
Hoping someone will soon YT post single TS install onto a BBC 502 with FiTech and boost cam so I don't gotta do all this like a virgin...but Thanks for showing a step by step app!
Its pretty self explainatory…if you managed to get yourself into a 502” bbc then bolting on a fitech and supercharger should be easy peazy…..just set your air fuel ratios right or better yet have someone tune it for you….thats the hardest part
Did you gap your rings? I’d liked to do this kit but my rings aren’t gaped
Not enough boost to worry about gapping the rings…
@@trentdawg2832 really
No need to gap rings for this application.
@@LoggerheadsBBQ when you start pushing 15+ lbs on a daily continueus basis then gapping becomes a concern….on my nova i have a 370 ls3 headed flat top pistoned motor that i built and put a LSA super charger on, with a 2.45” pulley…..i didnt even gap the rings , let alone check them, they went straight from the box right onto the piston, that was 12k mi ago with no issues…..although i may only see 14psi tops on a good day….after i put full 3” glasspack that exit before rear tire it went down to 10 psi….12 if i push it hard
Get one for the nova dude! We can be twins lol!!
Approved!!
Do you need efi to put on a supercharger
Nice….i have a ‘73 c/10 swb fleet with a cammed 5.3 and vortech supercharger…..i was on the fence with the torquestorm and probably could have saved some money going that route but i didnt wanna have to switch up my serpentine belt setup……looks like yall got the expensive one $4k +
Your truck sounds sick!!!!! Thanks for watching and supporting!
@@gasratzcustoms thats actually my ‘68 c10 longbed……with a.s.a. Cam and flat top pistons from 4.8 put in a 5.3 with 243 heads….thats was a very stout combo, my wife hated that truck…it was to loud and abnoxious, plus the asa cam made it really stinky…i will have to get a video of the ‘73 once i finish the paint on her
@@gasratzcustoms thank you
High quality video
Thanks for watching
How much boost yall going to run?
Keeping it conservative around 8 pounds… for now
No intercooler?
Not currently on this application
@@gasratzcustoms no hate it was a serious question. Curious how that’s working.
What kit was this?
It was one of their Camaro kits.
Nice video
Thanks
No intercooler? That’s crazy
We have installed one since this video.
Sleeper !!!
Ah damn it
When torquing beep further 1/8 turn... check twice beep then further 1/8 turn. In total 1/4 turn past beep, should be torqued sufficient... AIN'T IT JUST AIN'T IT 😜 lols
spray himself in the face the first time...accident. does it again, well. I wont say lol
No intercooler
No intercooler for this application
@@gasratzcustoms you add one later once you put a smaller pulley on and up the boost
@@trentdawg2832 100%
At least throw a meth kit at it.. Im seeing 140-150 no intercooler on my TS not terrible but cant put much timing at it
What engine did you put that on?
5.3 LS
