Hey man, i think I found your NDB's. I logged into Checkmate last night, went to go get my ship from the hangar, and when I got to my hangar there was already someone else's destroyed Hornet complete with 6 NDB's on the pad still burning a little! I immediately ripped them off and stored them in the station, and then equipped them to my ships. Once in a blue moon the jank works for you!
Havent bought a single ship gun since 4.0, Been able to find all my attritions I like to use. and some omniskys. Still working on getting components. All from bounties and random ships I find in the verse. Make them expensive, Ill find instead of buy. +5mil worth of loot, easy gains.
I had the same problem too but observed it was the reset of the game. I had items that I left at various cities and bases put into the city of my choice. some ships were reset but I still had all items in my storage. Great follow up video

I changed the turret gun first at Orison my home base and when I claimed it at Area 18 to equip some Rattlers the Attrition was replaced with the stock. I claimed it again at Orison and the Rattlers were back to stock so I thought this was a change they've added. Lets hope it was just a server issue.
I think this is an issue with some ships; I filed one for the Super Hornet Mk I where it was eating modifications to the ball turret. It would appear to be saved, but a claim would always revert to badgers.
@Cpt_Foxyloxy i managed to get the MK II turret out of ground from freight elevater, used some normal mutlitoo with tzruhold, moved near the turret that my beam don´t gets red. then i tried it and with pressing "R" for rotation i could get the turret out of ground FYI ;) keep going it´s really nice to see your vids
This doesn't work for F7A MKI unfortunately. No matter what I save on the ball turret, it reverts to Panthers when claimed. Unfortunately it's such a rare ship few others will know and CIG probably won't patch it.
There's no need to unequip the jump drive, just close and reopen your mobiglass after equipping the QD and you will have a spare jump drive available to equip.
@ I'm talking about the "losing the jump drive" part, it has nothing to do with saving your loadout. Unequipping your QD also unequips the jump drive but it only shows up in your inventory after you close and reopen your mobiglass. It's a visual bug.
the mk2 variant of the hornet works fine for me, however the mk1 variant (specifically the f7a mk1)has a very strange issue, when you claim the f7a mk1 its top turret will restore to default loadout, no matter what you do, change the weapon, change the turret, even tractor it away and save loadout doesn't work, you still get a fresh new turret with default loadout. I assume it's easily ignored because not a lot of people have this ship, but the topic is quite similar so im just gonna post it here.
It's not so much a bug; the jump drive is a module on the quantum drive. Thus when you remove the QT drive, it takes its jump module with it. If you buy a fresh drive, there's no jump module on it.

Can you test the how well an Eclipse works on ERT's. One video you showed how IR torps are the best and work for ERT's. Are Eclipse still worth buying?
I have a different issue with ships. When I removed stuff from a ship via loadout manager and replaced it (i.e. replacing stock weapons/components with what I want), the stuff I removed from my ship eventually disappeared from my inventory. I _think_ this happened some time after I claimed the ships from some other station. I _know_ I had the stock components and weapons in Area 18 inventory - I specifically checked that I did. When I was finally done with my shopping and installing, and came back, the only ship components I had were ones that were carried over from the previous patch - paints, Ardor repeaters, and a pair of CF-227s. Nothing else.
I wonder if component health is a factor in dogfights? For example, stealth and competition components have much lower health than their military, industrial or even civilian counterparts. Is a ship equipped with stealth or competition components easier to disable, either with ballistics or missiles? Maybe a test with a sabre and freelancer or something like that, a few ships with their components physicalized.
i cannot mount this turret to my f7C mark 2... everytime get the message "attaching invalid" how can i solve this? and when doing in vehicle manager it doesnt safe..
Your jump drive goes missing because it's still inside your old quant drive. Just put it back in and save load out. Close and reopen the ship loadout customize and u equip it.
I have had some issues with ship weapons in 4.0.1 1. I changed my ship weapon in the loadout manager and the weapon just disappeared the one I unequipped 2. somehow one weapon I had equipped randomly disappeared I don't know if it was between logins or another time but after an repair I got it back
Maybe also see if this is a hangar owned ship Vs bought in game ship Insured ships should keep parts changes But I think uninsured (uec bought) will reset to default parts. Not sure when they will apply the three tiers of insurance yet and how that will apply because claiming should change you if you want to keep parts in the future if you haven't got insurance
He took it from his F7A... if you don't have one you won't have a turret because the ones you can buy at orison for example don't work and it can take only months for CIG to fix, its already like that for months and they don't care. People that have a F7A just install the turret from the F7A which is better anyway because it can take 2xS3 instead of the one in shops that can only have 2xS2.
CIG hasn't said so yet but I am pretty sure that it is intended that the ball turret remain exclusive to the F7A and Super Hornet variants only. I expect them to patch out the ability to manually attach it at some point.
@ Correct. The top module is what makes the other variants unique. Right now you can remove the stealth module but you still get your stealth bonus and "enhanced radar" and EWAR are not in the game yet.

Back then the CPU demands of crisis crippled a lot of computers and Chris Roberts is doing the exact same bonehead shit with star citizen, if you don’t have a top dog CPU you’re gonna have an even shittier experience in high entity areas than what’s out there now. Which brings me to my second point…even if on your end, there is no issues with your PC, servers still cannot keep up with all the demands with the entities either so you’re screwed either way. The game has to be completely rebuilt or it will never be reliable and fun again, eventually CIG is going to have a reckoning and they’re gonna have to Reveal a plan or the project may just fail…

Aint lying we just found 7 NDB30s and 4 attrition 5s with 8 ardors size 3s in a mission we were doing all abandoned ships 😂

You can put the nose turret inside a storeall crate, open the crate, right click on the turret, and press Drop.
or park ship nose in freight elevator and equip it.

The point of doing this is to add a second save just in case the game didn’t save the load out correctly the first time

I think it's a bug.. this hotfix is a mess and a half. You lose all social inputs (like leaving your seat) randomly.
Why you use ndb-30 when atrition is better or ardor??
If he’s doing PVP NDBs are way better. Even CF laser repeaters are better. Attritions are cool when facing larger ships on for PVE

I lost all looted components after update, as well most of bought weapons, powerplants and shields. Did You have the same problem?
I've been losing jump drives without switching any components. It's happened twice now where I couldn't jump and it was missing somehow.
Duping detected -> duping fix breaks ship loadouts -> loadouts fixed -> duping returns. repeat.
