Thanks for the video. I just bought one. One quick question: at 6:25 you mentioned if we could power on the device through that USB-C port (which is connected to the docking station in your video). I am considering buying the docking station but it would be really cool if the M90n could be powered through the USB-C port (with the docking station supplying the power). That way, I would just have to run one USB-C cable from the docking station to M90n. I would appreciate it if you could comment on this.

Awesome video. Do you know when this will release? Lenovo site still says coming soon.

Can the M90n-1 use a Lenovo tablet or a Motorola smartphone as monitor/keyboard to setup the RDC server of Windows 10 Pro?
Was thinking that thing would be perfect to attach to a robotic GEM for astrophotography?

These look fantastic. I'm thinking of using one of the Core i3 or i5 models for my company's 3CX phone system (which can be installed on Debian Linux). Very comparable to some of the Intel NUC kits, just a little more compact and power efficient.

Christopher, I'd be curious what you think about the M90n Nano IoT video I just posted. We think that Telco will be a big use case.

@@thomasvanderkin Yes, I saw that one too. I like that it is fanless and has two nics (could be used for a nice home router) and it has obvious industrial applications. If it had 3 nics and hit the $200 price point we'd have a really nice alternative to the PC Engines router boards.

Hi I am trying to buy 3-4 of Lenovo m90n IOT with 4gb ram and 128gb ssd for our eBay business for my employees to make listings and do basic label printing only , can you recommend it’s good enough for that kind of work as there will be no gaming or video streaming this is strictly one website basic work and I will be pairing them with probably HP lcd displays ? Thanks in advance

Cheetah, I would suggest you get the standard Tiny instead of the IoT version for that use. You will get a better processor with a fan. The IoT model is more for dusty environments or areas such as a warehouse or for IoT specific applications.

Why do you need a docking station? Couldn’t you connect everything straight to the nano?

    • @thomasvanderkin

A lot of people prefer to have all their cables into the dock, then just have one connection to the Nano (or laptop).

so much plastic and cardboard waste, the device looks great, but Lenovo should pack it more efficently.

Sulman, I was thinking of you when I opened the Nano IoT. I just posted the video and it seems to have even more packaging than the regular Nano. They wrapped the keyboard and mouse in plastic inside the box.
