- Today I bust 39 Myths in Mario Kart! Some of them are item myths, some are Wave 4 myths and so much more! HOPE YOU ENJOY :)

Nah the echo on DK summit is real, try with DK or some other character with louder yells and the trolley one on Amsterdam Drift applies to any moving hazard. If you aren't at a threshold speed the hazard wont affect you and the gold/metal mario tie comparison was frame perfect! (impressed!)
and if you use a coin item or use your horn in the cannon you can hear it echo
The game calculates how much of the car was over the line on the given frame it finishes, so it might be possible to get a tie if the finish was frame perfect AND pixel perfect, which is impossible

I feel some of these myth are just... what is wrong with people? Some are just obviously either right or wrong, like the Super Horn can't protect the Lightning.

Amsterdam Drift:
if you get close enough you can hear the wind next to the windmills
You can see flags that says daisy’s flower market on them
Riverside Park:
If you have custom items on the thick piranhas don’t blow any items
The thick piranhas spawn under the bridge
DK Summit:
The canon says “DK Cannon” on it
The gates make a different noise than in Mario kart wii
Yoshi's Island:
If you bump into the huffin puffs the make a “boing” sound
In the castle there are vases on the window sills
The flower at the finish line makes noise
The red bridge makes a noise when it disappears
Bangkok Rush:
The garage has numbered floors

Technically, it's MARIO KART WII that changes the statue in DK Summit
I never really understand these "myths".
The literal definition of a myth is "A traditional story which embodies a belief regarding some fact or phenomenon of experience, and which often the forces of nature and of the soul are personified, or a sacred narrative regarding a god, a hero, the origin of the world or of a people.
Although, another definition of "myth" is simply "A commonly-held but false beliefe, a common misconception, or a fictitious or imaginary person or a thing, or a popular conception about a real person or event which exaggerates or idealizes reality".
None of these really fit what is being portrayed in this video.
These so-called "Busting myths in games", isn't really "busting myths in games". It should really be called "randomly thinking of things that are definitely in there, and are in plain sight, unless you're blind or stupid, while randomly making up things that aren't in there".
Like, seriously.... "There's a Moo Moo Meadows truck parked in the garage"? How is that even a "myth" that needs to be "confirmed"? What's next "Myth: Mario is a playable character"?
My favourite myth was when chiz said “if you go to your home screen and select Mario kart Mario kart 8 loads up”

I have a couple of Myths for you to check out. (These are specifically in/for Mario Kart 8/Deluxe.) Myth 1: You can dodge a Blue Shell with a Mushroom on the Ground. Myth 2: You can have the Piranha Plant item eat a Blue Shell.

Could the Wii one be because you selected a guest Mii instead of a created one? Or maybe its just the difference in games, but in Mario Kart Wii, everything changed to Miis when I played as my personal Mii.
And maybe not the Bullet Bill, but at least in Mario Kart Tour, those horns can destroy a blue shell

That's not gold. That's yellow, because it's Player 1.
Player 2 is blue, Player 3 is red, Player 4 is green.
even though they couldn't both get first, golden mario's 2nd was gold. is this because of golden mario or was it gold because they were both "in 1st place" (which has a gold coloring while 2nd has a silver). does metal mario have a silver 1st?
That's because Gold Mario was Player 1... so the number is yellow in offline multiplayer.
For players with motion controls, you can drift without pressing any drift buttons if you hold ur controller rotated 45° (works on both ways) and you can do a ramp trick without using any drift buttons if you shake the controller

on 3ds rainbow road, before the moon you can jump off the track and slowly float all the way down instead of using the wavy track

I got another myth on mario kart 8 dx, apparently if you have bloop’s ink you will be more slippery when drifting
Myth: with the right timing you can jump over red shells using the geysers in the oasis, use different ones just in case.

Yesterday, I was blue-shelled in 7th. Not hit when it passed, blue-shelled as if I were first.
The AI was definitely not in my favor, I'd been clobbered, and fell behind. There was a long gap between me in 7th and 6th. Someone behind had released the blue shell, and the first 6 had already finished. I'm guessing that since I was the next to cross the finish ahead, I was technically the first, even though so many times I've been in first, crossed the finish line, and then the play-through has me getting blued after the race is over.
