What if I added after effects to a premiere pro project that is not done editing If I were to save the premiere pro project, would the after effects editing still be there? or would I have to export the after effects before doing so
The edits should be saved when you close down the apps just save before closing, then when you open up the timeline should have the most recently saved version of the after effects clip.
Adobe seems clueless about what users need. Why would I want to do my fantastic color corrected edit in Premiere, then REPLACE that sequence with a whole AE file that contains that edit... to add fancy titles on top? AE just needs the sequence in a layer as a backplate... and Premiere just needs the AE titles as a sequence on top... 🤷♂ Don't get it... how is this dynamic, if I can no longer edit in PR after bringing all the edits into AE? 😵🔫
Yeah it can be a little cumbersome. What I would suggest is that you create an adjustment layer and place it on the top layer of the timeline. Then apply your color grades to that. Then you can cut the clips that you want to export to AE via dynamic link. When you make further changes to the color grade on the adjustment layer it applies the changes to all clips under.....
@@Touchtechnologyreview I rambled... I simply want to do titles in AE... text titles... And, impossible without a backplate... Sorry if confusing. But, still dumbfounding.

Can i only choose 2 or 3 clips and replace them if the timeline got like 10 or more clips?
you can select as many clips as you like on the timeline.
thanks so much!!!
You're welcome!
Savvy - Thx
Adobe Dynamic Link isn't selectable for me. Any advice?
Could be a number of things. First check if you have both Apps installed and that they are on the latest version.
