  • Dynamic Linking saves you time when editing in Premiere Pro by connecting a timeline or composition from After Effects and syncing changes in real-time. Here's how to get it set up.

what adobe premiere and affter effects version is that? is there should be the same version of adobe premiere and after effects to make it linked with dynamic link?

This dynamic link workflow which you mentioned can create a lot of mess and storage problem for people who need to go back and forth with the edits, adding new graphics and clips or for instance increase the duration within the project with all the sfx and music and VO. I would say this works for small projects where there aren't a lot of things happening in after effects

Is there a way to link a video made in after effects, exported from media encoder, to use after effects as a source instead of just the video file when clicking on the edit original option? I'm asking this because the built-in render queue is very slow and only exports very heavy mov files...

So one question please...if I use proxy files in premiere Pro will it work with after effect using dynamic link?

  • @acoolrocket

This is what's keeping me from switching to DaVinci Resolve, After Effects is still king for many motion graphics stuff that I simply just wanted imported into Premiere Pro without having to export stuff and re-export if I decide to edit it later.
