Second that request for the all-night coverage; there was a good summary of it from a decade-old ITV documentary - th-cam.com/video/gFoEC2O9R4U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jGSIXTNnHOCCdHDy&t=1546 - but would be great to be able to see it in full.
Yes were all men , all soldiers , but were also human and when you see or know that your buddies were just wasted , the human element comes out weather you want it to or not it rears its head
Well. Actually the economic problem in UK started since 1970s, e.g. there were constant demonstrations of factory workers & poor management of British automotive industries.. causing them to bankrupt. That, and then Thatcher era. Then after 2000s.. with Brexit it's even worse.
Journalists are such tossers. Asking lads the dumbest questions while they're still traumatised and lucky to be alive. Unbelievable and lacking in any empathy!
@poontang8035 your confusing the 2003 incident with this. This was Desert Storm 1991, fusiliers and Staffordshires warriors hit by A10 mavericks. 2003 incident was gun runs by A10s on household cav scimitars.
Omg, I thought I would faint after seeing things SOOO DISTURBING. Geeez. What’s this world come to posting these horrible images. Give us a more stern warning next time how bout it!

Has the USA ever thanked Britain for the English Common Law system? You believe that we thought it all up on our own? That's why we fought our war for independence. The Crown said we were full citiziens of the realm, with all the rights and obligations of such, under the Common Law But, the British government just seemed to think that the only obligations applied to the American Colonists and not the rigths. We fought for the rights that we supposably had under the Common Law and English Constitution, we fought, not a revolution, but for a restoration of the status quo. If we could not do that with the Mother Country, we would do it on our own.
@@mistermann7579Did the USSR thank the Western Allies for helping them during the crucial early years defense from the Barbarossa Campaign.. Allied Forces who sent USSR lend-lease tanks, airplanes, weapons, equipment, and oil? Even the US-made P-39 Airacobra became Soviet airmen's favorite. That's after Soviet invaded Poland in 1939, cooperating with Nazi Germany, plundering the Polish resources. Don't forget that without 1942-1943 North Africa & Italian campaign, Nazi Germany's wouldn't be distracted & could focus only to Soviet front. Don't forget that in Pacific campaign, US sacrificed many, to defeat Japan.
A bit insensitive as this footage has interviews with 3RRF lads talking about loosing their comrades to so called (friendly fire) from an American A-10. RIP those poor lads 😔
Incredible footage thank you for posting these.
1:52 that's a rare sight to see an SA-80 with a vertical grip.
Exactly what I thought. 👍
Thank you for your service lads 👍🏻
This has brought back many memories for me.
Last time when UK had an real Army
even then they ended up looking like clowns decades later making Iraq more unstable with fundamentalists running amok
Why you say that ?
@@NegaRenGenX2gay2liftdecades? You really are full of it.
@@NegaRenGenX2gay2lift American policy. We played a bit part. But you are correct to some degree.
Super interest to see footage of the destruction caused by the exotic weaponry, the "DEW" directed energy beam weaponry.
Can you please upload some of the rolling coverage from the early days of the war, including the opening all-nighter from John Suchet?

The British officer was a cool guy ,I raise a glass to you lads ,sorry for your brothers who perished
By gum that brings back a few memories. Sad we could never field a force that size again!
Don't need all those meat shields on the ground with technology

Never?
I wonder how these soldiers feel about their country today?

You tell us russian fake account.
Always worth a review of the Parkinson clip in the youtube video "Blair and god" to get a feel for why we were in Iraq

Nah mate. I was there, they just did there job. Not a generation of snowflakes over there in 1991.
@@rockfella1377 I don't doubt that. I do find the Journalists questions pretty dumb though and also scripted
Who shot at them? Freind or foe?
Chump ad was trash
Lynx, low level in it’s element and at its best. Go Army 👍
Was this the friendly fire incident when the British tank fired at another British tank?
Says in the description. American A-10. I assume Maveric AT missiles. Pilot was unable to tell the difference between Warrior AFVs and T-55s. Somehow.
Even with fluorescent marker panels, but that’s the fog of war

The Axis were already losing by the time USA got involved, they didn't save a thing just joined in to take credit and try profit from it.
