      Second that request for the all-night coverage; there was a good summary of it from a decade-old ITV documentary - th-cam.com/video/gFoEC2O9R4U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jGSIXTNnHOCCdHDy&t=1546 - but would be great to be able to see it in full.

      Well. Actually the economic problem in UK started since 1970s, e.g. there were constant demonstrations of factory workers & poor management of British automotive industries.. causing them to bankrupt. That, and then Thatcher era. Then after 2000s.. with Brexit it's even worse.

    Has England ever thanked the USA for saving them in WW2? 🤔

    • @Buckshot9796
      @Buckshot9796 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +10

      Has the USA ever thanked Britain for the English Common Law system? You believe that we thought it all up on our own? That's why we fought our war for independence. The Crown said we were full citiziens of the realm, with all the rights and obligations of such, under the Common Law But, the British government just seemed to think that the only obligations applied to the American Colonists and not the rigths. We fought for the rights that we supposably had under the Common Law and English Constitution, we fought, not a revolution, but for a restoration of the status quo. If we could not do that with the Mother Country, we would do it on our own.

      @@mistermann7579Did the USSR thank the Western Allies for helping them during the crucial early years defense from the Barbarossa Campaign.. Allied Forces who sent USSR lend-lease tanks, airplanes, weapons, equipment, and oil? Even the US-made P-39 Airacobra became Soviet airmen's favorite. That's after Soviet invaded Poland in 1939, cooperating with Nazi Germany, plundering the Polish resources.
      Don't forget that without 1942-1943 North Africa & Italian campaign, Nazi Germany's wouldn't be distracted & could focus only to Soviet front. Don't forget that in Pacific campaign, US sacrificed many, to defeat Japan.
