Koolasuchus cleelandi from CollectA look amazing 🤩! I definitely 💯 percent pick up this figure because Koolasuchus cleelandi did appear in Walking with Dinosaurs documentary series, i love that scene ☺️. I can imagine that, Koolasuchus cleelandi want to ambush some small Dinosaur to eat 😁. Koolasuchus cleelandi was only one giant amphibian that manage to survive from Devonian extinction and Koolasuchus cleelandi was only one that manage to see the Dinosaur 🦖🦕🙂. Great video Andy, hopefully i manage to find and buy Koolasuchus cleelandi from CollectA soon 😊, keep happy, 🤗.
Awesome koolasuchus figure I was surprised that this species has not have many figure only couple which is surprising to me cause I thought it would have a lot
I guess that Japanese giant salamander exist so a prehistoric giant salamander is not that surprising

Just bought this. Been searching for a koolasuchus for months now! I wish it was a bit smaller though, and had some smoother skin.

Such a weird and wonderful figure; kind of reminds me of the "dog" creature from the John Carter movie or one of the strange creatures from Evolution comedy movie!

Im very excited to see your Ruyangosaurus (titanosaur) review. I hope you could dig in your collection to do a size comparison with the following collecta sauropods: Daxiatitan, Mamenchisaurus and Argentinosaurus.

Increidble, but i really would use a more darker or brown color, similiar to the deeps of rivers.
I thought you had another Eryops that you painted red. That one looked amazing and would look great beside the new figure.
That was actually the Bullyland Mastadonsaurus that I had repainted for a friend of mine. So unfortunately that is no longer in my collection. I do have an original paint version of that figure they'll which I should have definitely used in a comparison. I didn't even think of it.

I love koolasuchus but the fact they gave it scales is kinda weird..
Actually I'm pretty sure it is believed that many temnospondyl species did in fact have scales. That's probably why Collecta decided to go the scale route.

You can also interpret it as warty and rough skin like toads and giant salamanders

Is it just me or is the head a bit too...squarish? Looking at reference skeletals of Siderops, a relative of Koolasuchus, the head is more rounded, more like a half-circle.
Also the limbs are a bit too bulky and big
I actually didn't notice the shape of the head thing at first but now that you've mentioned it I can't stop noticing it. You may be right about that.
Not a fan of the scales, but still a very nice figure.
I'm pretty sure it is believed that many species of temnospondyls actually had scale so that's probably why they chose the route of scales on the figure.
